Hello my friends!

Today I spent some time taking photos at "São Bernardo" lake. Yonder is a very beautiful place, and the weather is extremely pleasant. I Returned home feeling very good, because it's a very peaceful and harmonious place.

In addition, there are twenty-eight new photos on my personal stock. :)

I hope you enjoy this one.

Have a wonderful week!

This is one egg eating crow. Several times I've seen crow and other birds with eggs, which I think are turtle eggs but I'm not sure. If anyone has any information, feel free to chime in. I've seen crows hard at it digging into the ground, and I suspected that this was what they were after. Surprisingly, the egg doesn't crack in their beak, and they are able to fly with it. If anyone can also confirm my identification of this as an American Crow, Corvus brachyrhynchos, please do so. Thanks

Thank you all who fave and comment on my photo'/video's,much appreciated. And thank you all for looking.

It's a rainy day and so I didn't take any new cat photos but decided to post an older capture of Charlie Brown taken in August when he stayed with us. Of all the toys he found in our house, Olaf the snowman was one of his favourites. I'm not sure if Olaf enjoyed the encounter as Charlie always bit him in his nose…..

I wondered last year why none of my apples were worth having. Then I found out why.

Got pretty close to this one before it flew off.

Before transitioning to another series related to industrialisation, I thought I'd post a few night shots to contrast with everything I've shown recently. Night street photography.

The title here is self-explanatory. But it is a very real comment on our affluent societies. This 24 hour fast food outlet has people driving through at all hours. Always eating. And we wonder why we have an obesity problem in our society.

Oh and don't forget we are always being watched. Did you notice the surveillance cameras and recorders to the upper left?

This Worm-eating Warbler was a highlight on our trip up to meet our group in Michigan. We spent the night in Kentucky and stopped to do a little birding and this was our reward. He definitely presented a challenge by staying in the dark and if that wasn’t enough he also never stopped moving for more than a couple of seconds.

While the previous photos were taken below the "mushrooms", this one is from the rooftop.

I opted again for monochrome version with strong contrast, because I feel that it better emphasizes the fantastic shape of the structure.

taken through my window at 600mm, so could be better.
