So, everyone brought confetti eggs to my aunt's house. There were 6 women hiding eggs in the backyard and by the end we were just throwing them. Ha! Not much of a hunt, but the kids had fun collecting.
another crooked road...very glad the snow storm is finished....there isn't 30 feet of road up here that is straight....
here it is. the whole chicken fried to perfection. it was delicious -- crispy on the outside; tender, juicy and flavour-full on the inside.
marc has been elevated to "fry master" status.
thanks to the great weather and the fresh snow, she was able to go up the little hill for quite a few times with daddy pulling a string which tied on to her. the last round, daddy took off the rope and whoosh she went. fell down a few times, but didn't seem to bother her. another big step.
Yep....Easter Weekend, and my "Goldie" arrived. I am naming her Goldie, as I really do love that name, and it's very fitting. Just a quick shot of her, not the best....she is gorgeous!!!
Eggs were died with onion peels! You smash your hard boiled egg against mine, winner's egg doesn't break!

A fast and furious morning at the annual Easter Egg Hunt in Baker City’s Geiser Pollman Park.
Geiser Pollman Park located adjacent to Baker City Oregon’s award winning historic downtown and on the banks of the Powder River is one of several parks along the Leo Adler Memorial Parkway that follows the river as it meanders through this historic Eastern Oregon community. The park is the site of numerous community events and festivals throughout the year including the Miners Jubilee, Baker City Memory Cruise, the farmers market, and the Powder River Music Review summer concert series.
