Happy Caturday 11.04.2020 "Easter weekend"
New editing of an archive photo
Sorry that I don't have a 'real' Easter photo - Timmy is enjoying spring to the fullest and didn't have a free slot for a photo session for me ;-)
Timmy and I wish all our valued Flickr friends Happy Easter - stay healthy!

Happy Caturday!
Butterscotch isn't looking quite as dapper as usual so I was hesitant about posting this. He's shedding a lot right now and I should have brushed him before taking a photo.
It's worth to go with your friends and have a "chimarrão" (mate/tea) and enjoy these beautiful landscapes you find there.
Access to Morro Gaúcho after the RS 130 exit is around 8 Km on a dirt road. The place has no tourist infrastructure yet, but being about 550 meters above sea level offers a beautiful view of the Taquari River and its nearby cities. The place is also sought for various sports.
I have been there more than once.
It was Easter holiday with RW and a group of friends.
Nope, this is not from my South African pictures, but from the weekend where I spent Easter in County Clare, Ireland with my family :)
We had a wonderful time and enjoyed a day out to a place called Aillwee Cave and Bird of Prey Centre.
On display was a beautiful Bateleur, it was very special for me as I'd seen a few of these in the wild around Kruger in South Africa last year (obviously from a much further distance lol), but this one I actually got to hold :D :D
Hope you all had a fantastic Easter break and some nice family time :)
Will do my best to catch up, but with such amazing weather at the moment, I'm wanting to get out as much as possible :)
Thank you all for the views, comments and faves on today's and previous uploads :) :) :)
Greetings. Wishing you a happy Easter. I hope your Easter weekend will be full of fun and joy. May your lives be illuminated with love and happiness. Thank you very much for your kind comments and support, I appreciate it a lot.
Take care.
Warm regards
Ross.

Take care and have fun my friends.
Warm and kind wishes Ross
Bring my to Life by Kamoteus2003 (Bebo Norman)
Lyrics to Bring Me To Life :
I am a barren land
And it’s all I can do to stand
I am thirsty, I am thirsty
Father, reach out Your hand
I have given all that I can
Still I’m sinking, I’m still sinking
I want to run into the deep
And let the deep call out to me
I want to lose myself in Your love
So let it rain down over me
As I fall down to my knees
Let the ocean rise to meet me
I need You to bring me to life
Well of eternal things
Endless is all the life You bring
Be the water that I long for
And show me Your Kingdom Come
Father and let Your will be done
Here in me as it is in Heaven

Just two turkeys out for a Friday stroll on Buckshot Lake Road.

I love reflection and this is one of my archive picture taken at Capilano Lake in 2011.
Wish you a great Friday and weekend!
The following is the original story posted.
One time my photo club friend talked to me about reflection.
Reflection is always the favorite of photographers. However not every one of reflection is photogenic.
Surprisingly he said the most beautiful and photogenic reflection is not those appear like a crystal clear mirror image. Some distortions and blurry blending with good colors are better ones, he said. What counted as the best is always subjective though.
Will this be a good reflection I found on the day I shot Capilano Lake?
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder!
This is the close up shot of the Capilano Lake reflection with Lions in background.
Happy Tuesday everyone!
Sunset over Lake Erie as seen from Lorain, Ohio. This reminded me of the crown of thorns that Jesus had to wear on his head when he made his sacrifice for us.
There were at least four Toms that I counted and a dozen or so Jills out for a morning stroll.
Shot from the front deck on a chilly morning (didn't have time to even grab my coat LOL).

This picture is for the group Happy Caturday and the theme this week is "Easter Weekend".
Since we have quite a few bunnies in this house they all get the title "Easter Bunny" in April. :)
I'm sorry that most of my photo's of the boys always seem to be in the same area's of the house. The living room, den and one bedroom usually have the most indoor light.

Singing out my enveloped ideas
Doesn’t seem all too bad
Hoping it would be easier
To sing out my enveloped ideas

T0rying pointlessly to understand
Having nothing to say
Just shadows what remains boy Inside

Singing out my envelope ideas

To sing out my enveloped ideas
Stanza II:
Why should I carry this platter? (platter)
Didn’t it just pass me by? (by…)
And does one cling right on the edge? (the edge)
I have an empty dream, this here my ideas.

Elijah and Ella was on the bed watching our neighbors chickens who were right outside the window.
My bunny Ella is almost 20 years old and looks a little raggedy (especially her headband). My Mom bought her for me one year for my birthday.
I'll try to embed a photo of the boys and the chickens in the comments.

"It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad." - C. S. Lewis
------
Last year (after Easter) I came across a blog post on how to dye Easter eggs using onion skins, flowers and foliage.
I bookmarked the site and actually remembered a year later that I wanted to try this; so here are the results.
I used brown eggs instead of white and I think I would have had better results with white eggs, I think the designs would have stood out more. So hopefully I remember that if I want to try again next year.
Anyway; if you're interested you can find the blog post here.
Hope everyone has had a good day.

A strong wind from the east kicks up some big surf as she shakes the sand out of her beach towel, significant other downwind. They seem to be dancing, all their cares offered up to the late afternoon sun. And apparently, there is someone rushing up to either (a) break in for a quick turn around the dance floor with the fair lady, or (b) stop her because she is violating the unwritten rule about shaking sand out of a beach towel when you are upwind of others. Yes, it's just another glorious Easter Sunday afternoon at Indialantic Beach.
I thought very seriously about titling this 'Tawny Dancer', but I have a friend on the opposite end of the planet who loves puns far more than I do, and I thought she might want this title for one of her perfect beach shots sometime in the future. ;)

Mark:
If a picture paints a thousand words,
Then why can’t I paint you?
The words will never show
The you, I've come to know
Shane:
If a face could launch a thousand ships
Then where am I to go?
There's no one home but you,
You're all that's left me too.
Mark:
And when my love for life is running dry,
You come and pour yourself on me.
Nicky:
If a man could be two places at one time,
I’d be with you
Tomorrow and today,
Beside you all the way
Shane and Kian
If the world should stop revolving spinning
Slowly down to die,
I’d spend the end with you.
And when the world was through,
Mark
Then one by one the stars would all go out,
and you and I would simply fly away

Nice and sunny today so went for a drive. Saw this juvenile bald eagle and the focus gods were with me for once!
Hope everyone is having a nice Easter!

Archrock, Keurboomstrand, South Africa. It's great when you don't even have to touch the photos up - from the camera straight to flickr. Took about 400 pics this past weekend, so will be uploading gradually over the week.
