One of our six lunchtime squirrels in Walton Park, Sale. Easily recognised by her lack of ears, she is easily the most friendly taking nuts from your hand. I think she looks like a baby otter.
I'm sure you're getting sick of these, but I found a couple more to love. Mommy goggles. hehe

Sorry I didn't take any good pics at Rescue last week and I missed this week due to a Cold.
I was trying to think of an "ears" pun and one of my friends had already used "Ears looking at you kid", so I went for this. The "Here's Johnny!" frenzied axe scene by Jack Nicholson in the Shining was voted the scariest film moment of all time, which is ironic as this must be the cutest photo I've ever uploaded. Apparently Jack Nicholson ad-libbed it taking off Ed McMahon's introduction of Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show.
Back to this photo, which is a young Black-tailed Deer which occurs in far western North America from California to Alaska. This one was on Vancouver Island which makes it subspecies columbianus. But Black-tailed deer themselves are now considered subspecies of the more widespread Mule Deer (Odocoileus hemionus), so named because they have large ears like a mule, as you can see here. They are the main prey species for top predators such as Wolves and Cougars.
Snowflake ear ring? What better jewelry for a snowbird than snowflakes so these large snowflakes on its head seemed very appropriate.

When picking saintly, angelic elderflowers, always keep an eye out for their sinister, twisted step-cousin the edible jelly ear fungus (Auricularia auricularia-judae) which only grows on elder trees that are past their prime.

Etta in her new Rashie to help protect her surgery wounds. 5 lumps removed, 3 of which were mast cell tumours. Hopefully she won't try to scratch her ear. We may put a sock on her paw if she does. While we all rest/work on the lounge together she is safe.
