It's 90 degrees here in South Louisiana today, I'm glowing hehe...welcome summer!
Too bad it won't feel quite as glamorous in RL as this picture is of my idea of summer days!!! ;)
Dealing with that i was lied to is easy, but dealing with that i wasn't worth the truth much less so...
i took this today. not like all the other posts on my stream lately which are all outtakes from older shots. i never recognized all the birthmarks i have. and that some of them are kind of cute placed.

A rushed shot to test something I've been thinking about. Due to the uneven surface, I'm thinking a series of stencils could make this work on real bricks, but...

I had come in hopes of a misty pond. I got that and an amazingly colorful sky.
My favorite vantage points from 5 years ago are all overgrown. Which means I have to work harder and think about comps here - not a bad thing, really.
The clouds burn off around the foothills of Mt. Shuksan as seen from Table Mountain. This shot from four stitched photos!
" . . . You have been in every prospect I have ever seen since - on the river, on the sails of the ships, on the marshes, in the clouds, in the light, in the darkness, in the wind, in the woods, in the sea, in the streets. You have been the embodiment of every graceful fancy that my mind has ever become acquainted with. The stones of which the strongest London buildings are made, are not more real, or more impossible to be displaced by your hands, than your presence and influence have been to me, there and everywhere, and will be. Estella, to the last hour of my life, you cannot choose but remain part of my character, part of the little good in me, part of the evil. But, in this separation I associate you only with the good, and I will faithfully hold you to that always, for you must have done me far more good than harm, let me feel now what sharp distress I may. O God bless you, God forgive you!"
Charles Dickens ~Great Expectations~

No wonder the ancient people made such a big deal out of this. Best experience ever, so glad i came down for it.

*sigh* finishing up all these shots is making me so nostalgic!
this is from the cancun creativity workshop, which was already 10 days ago! seems like just yesterday i was splashing around at the beach... just one more photo to finish up from mexico city, a couple weddings, and then i declare self portrait time!
in other news, this photo is a huge reminder of how much more i personally have to learn. it took me forever to try and get a working color scheme on this one! and i still wish id done many things differently here. hopefully in another 2 years ill be better. :P also i apologize for how boring i am with my framing right now... haha.
