We had some great waves over the weekend, and Manini was crowded with surfers I haven't met, including the one captured here. He had some good rides, but this exit got the most response from the onlookers at the beach.
While Alaska's 130S is hugging Healy Canyon we are hugging the side of the bridge on Parks Highway hoping to not get hit by the trucks or the angry locals. 10 out of 10 may or may not try this again.

Sometimes signs do not make any sense ! This sign says Exit (udgang) to the left, which is through two doors and a staircase, to the right of the sign there is a wide opening of at least 6 meters !
I can highly recommend the Voigtländer Nokton 50mm 1.0 Aspherical for night photography !
Barauni bound 15204 Lucknow Express led by Gonda WAP-4 #25011 exiting 126 years old Elgin bridge built over Ghaghara River.
Discovered another set of shots that I hadn't processed from a few years back. Not even sure if the exit at Canary Wharf tube station still looks like this!
This was rendered as an act of exorcism, rather than a work of art. Painted in gouache on a piece of cardboard, after a particularly gruesome nightmare. It was about two years after I'd quit working as a nurse, but Nursing hadn't quit working on me.
It worked. I jumped into the painting (out the window) and kept going.

After watching this little Anole lizard creep its way, ever so slowly, up the pole to check out the mealworm feeder - he finally made it!
Granted he did creep back down, then up again a few times, eyeballing the feeder each time. And just when I thought he was ready to leap inside a Wren showed up, grabbed a worm and took off!! About a minute passed before he positioned himself again as if ready to leap inside... when suddenly this Mockingbird showed up and started grabbing those worms like there was no tomorrow!
It was at this point, a mere nano-second, that Mr. Lizard decided to vamoose! Time to exit stage left while he still could. Down the pole we went and vanished.
*** However, I suspect he may have checked out that feeder later when the coast was clear. After all - it is a free meal! And who doesn't want that?
