“The fragrance of white tea is the feeling of existing in the mists that float over waters; the scent of peony is the scent of the absence of negativity: a lack of confusion, doubt, and darkness; to smell a rose is to teach your soul to skip; a nut and a wood together is a walk over fallen Autumn leaves; the touch of jasmine is a night's dream under the nomad's moon.”

With events such as Neo Japan and Engine Room currently open the sci-fi lovers amongst you are kinda spoiled for choice. I know I was; all the creators have certainly surpassed themselves. I picked up the following items to play with and made a super-quick custom texture for ContraptioN's arm while playing with ideas as they been kind enough to include maps.

Matthew 7:16-20 New International Version (NIV)

16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

This small place, located in the historical core of Liège, has been entirely renewed between 1978 and 1985. Charles Vandenhove (1927-) was the architect of the project. He proposed an intervention on the XVIIth and XVIIIth century building characterized by a marked difference between existing structures and new ones, through the use of steel and concrete and postmodern architecture. As one can see from the picture, the place has kept its character and attractiveness over the years…

Since 1824, Świnoujście has been a seaside resort with a healing sea climate. After medicinal brine springs were discovered in the town's area in 1897, they were used for spa treatments, as were the existing medicinal mud deposits. The picture shows the graduation towers at one end of the promenade, near which the air is particularly salty and beneficial for respiratory problems.

The Enchanted City is a Spanish natural area of calcareous or limestone rock formations formed over thousands of years. It is located near Valdecabras, in the municipality of Cuenca (Spain), in a wide area of pine forests in the southern part of the Cuenca mountains and at an altitude of 1,500 meters.

It was declared a Natural Site of National Interest on June 11, 1929. The action of water, wind and ice has made this karstic phenomenon possible. The heterogeneity of the rocks in terms of their morphology, chemical composition and degree of hardness is what has allowed their uneven wear by atmospheric elements, resulting in a surprising sample of picturesque art from nature itself. To the whimsical and spectacular existing formations we must add lapiaces, torques and sinkholes.

It shares these characteristics especially with "Los Callejones", a place located in the municipality of Las Majadas. Both places are part of the Serranía de Cuenca Natural Park, created by the Law of the Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha 5/2007.

Church of San Michele

San Michele is the church of the Jesuits, present in the city since 1584. Already existing in the 15th century, it was rebuilt in the second half of the 17th century, thanks to the generosity of the Alghero soldier Geroni Ferret.

Today it is the church dedicated to the patron saint of Alghero, San Michele which is celebrated on September 29th. It is visible from afar due to its characteristic polychrome dome, one of the symbols of the city.

The palace was the residence of the Counts of Barcelona and, later, the Kings of Aragon, and consists of three separate buildings:

The Saló del Tinell, built in the 14th century under the direction of the architect Guillem Carbonell, whose semicircular arches rest on 11th-century groin vaults, themselves built over a pre-existing monumental structure dating from the Visigothic period.

The Palatine Chapel of Saint Agatha, built in 1302 under King James II.

The comapny Dolata was established in 1998, but it wasn't until 2018 that they expanded to the railway. They started in Dąbrowa (near Poznań) as a gravel/aggregates mine and sorting facility. Now they also do transports and produce concrete. The name comes from the company owner - Agnieszka Dolata.

The expansion to the rails happened (afaik) in 2018 and BR232-789 was the first class 232 locomotive to receive Dolata's black and silver livery. The company currently has a railway operations base in Szamotuły (also near Poznań), where they repair their sizeable fleet, now consisting of a couple of 232 and TEM2 locomotives (additionally - they own an ex-PKP ST44 locomotive, but there are no plans of bringing it back to life).

On a foggy November morning, while visiting my family in Rokietnica, I made my way to the local railway station and snapped this picture of Dolata's first 232 at the aggregate siding near the station. Since then, the station has had a substantial overhaul and the siding has ceased existing.

like the mirage that produces an illusory oasis in the desert, the senses create the impression that there is a real world in front of us that is being perceived by the mind. The apparent reality of the world is an illusion. It is merely a misperception. ...

Self inquiry is the process by which attention is put on the substratum, instead of on the names and forms that are habitually imposed on it. Self is the substratum out of which all things appear to manifest and the Jnani is the one who is continually aware of the real substratum.

The basilica of Santa Anastasia, which retains the name of a pre-existing church from the Lombard era dedicated to the fourth-century martyr Anastasia of Sirmium, is a masterful example of Italian Gothic architecture. The building stands at the terminal section of the ancient decumanus maximus, Verona's main Roman road continuation of the Via Postumia,[9] next to the smaller, deconsecrated church of St. Peter Martyr. At the end of the 13th century, the Dominican order settled there, to whom is owed the construction of the Gothic basilica, also dedicated to St. Peter Martyr, a Dominican native of Verona and patron saint of the city along with St. Zeno.[10] A great contribution to the construction of the church is owed to the Della Scala family, Lords of Verona, through generous donations and testamentary bequests that financed its lengthy construction.[11] Work continued until the end of the 16th century, never reaching completion of the façade.[12] In the right transept of the church is the Pellegrini Chapel, famous because it contains what is considered Pisanello's masterpiece, the St. George and the Princess, frescoed on the outer wall above the entrance arch.[13]
