This is a prime example of why I upgraded to a full frame camera....although noise may still occur, it will not be nearly as bad as what this orig file had....I did a bit of NR work to tame it down and thought I would post it up for you to check out....

Utilizzai una pellicola per me speciale la Kodak 160 GPX professional non più esistente, utilizzando una Pentax K 1000, il solito treppiedino e scatto flessibile. Era autunno inoltrato ed attesi, la luce del tramonto. Questa prospettiva mostra il borgo antico del paese ove è presente un arco acuto risalente al 3.000 a.c. di costruzione Ernica, un antico popolo locale e pre-romano. Questo scatto raggiunse la finale del premo Vittorio Bachelet andando in mostra nel locale che ospitò la premiazione e per me fu una grande soddisfazione perchè era la mia prima partecipazione a questo concorso fotografico nazionale. Ringrazio tutti per gli eventuali gradimenti.
I took this shot way back in 1996, in the village of Arpino (FR), the birthplace of Cicero. I used a special film for me the Kodak 160 GPX professional that no longer exists, using a Pentax K 1000, the usual tripod and flexible shutter. It was late autumn and I waited for the light of the sunset. This perspective shows the ancient village of the town where there is a pointed arch dating back to 3,000 BC. of Ernica construction, an ancient local and pre-Roman people. This shot reached the final of the Vittorio Bachelet prize going on display in the room that hosted the award ceremony and for me it was a great satisfaction because it was my first participation in this national photographic competition. Thank you all for any comments.

A 1939 Frazer Nash BMW 328 sports car, LMF 435, approaches the start line at Prescott speed hill climb on 11th September 2021. Between 1936 and 1939 only 426 BMW 328s were made, of which fewer than 200 are believed to exist today.
thanks to Joe Heeney, who has authorised me to use this photo of the very same plane in the previous photo...here is the end of this remarkable plane that I believe was manufactured in 1963...eventually airframe corrosion becomes so rampant that it is beyond economic repair ...the death knell has sounded...shortly after this photo was taken, the plane was wheeled into a hangar, and systematically reduced to rubble..an amazing time lapse video taken from a ceiling mounted camera exists showing the complete airframe disappear in about 15 minutes...in real time I think it took about 3 months !!..wish I could see it again..it was heart rending to see it's massacre....some one in Shannon can perhaps direct us??..maybe it is on YouTube..

The Marian Sanctuary in Gietrzwałd has existed since the 16th century. However, from June to September 1877, on the maple growing next to the church, the only revelations of Our Lady documented in Poland took place.
In connection with the increasing pilgrimage movement, in the years 1878-1884, the existing church was expanded. He obtained the shape that he exists today. The temple was expanded in the style of the North German Brick Gothic. The presbytery was enlarged three times and a transept with galleries was added, and the church gained the form of a Latin cross. The gable roof was covered with ceramic tiles, and a brick three-story tower was built on a square plan, covered with a high, pyramidal cupola.
The cult of the Mother of God was born in Gietrzwałd very early and was associated with the image of the Holy Mother of Gietrzwałd, which has been in the main altar of the church since at least 1505. In 1717, the painting was decorated with silver crowns and the dress of Madonna and Baby Jesus. The act of visitation shows that the cult had a local character until the mid-nineteenth century. After the apparitions in 1877, this cult gained a national character.

Sanktuarium Maryjne w Gietrzwałdzie istnieje od XVI wieku. Natomiast od czerwca do września 1877 roku na klonie rosnącym przy kościele, miały miejsce jedyne udokumentowane na terenie Polski objawienia Matki Bożej.
W związku z wzrastającym ruchem pielgrzymkowym, w latach 1878–1884, przeprowadzono rozbudowę istniejącego kościoła. Uzyskał on kształt, którym istnieje dzisiaj. Świątynia została rozbudowana w stylu północnoniemieckiego gotyku ceglanego. Powiększono trzykrotnie prezbiterium i dobudowano transept z emporami, a kościół zyskał formę krzyża łacińskiego. Dwuspadowy dach przykryto dachówką ceramiczną, oraz dobudowano murowaną, trzykondygnacyjną wieżę na planie kwadratu, nakrytą wysokim, ostrosłupowym hełmem.
Kult Matki Boskiej narodził się w Gietrzwałdzie bardzo wcześnie i był związany z obrazem Matki Boskiej Gietrzwałdzkiej, znajdującym się w ołtarzu głównym kościoła od co najmniej 1505 roku. W 1717 obraz został ozdobiony srebrnymi koronami oraz sukienką Madonny i Dzieciątka Jezus. Z akt wizytacji wynika, że do połowy XIX wieku kult miał charakter lokalny. Po objawieniach w roku 1877 kult ten nabrał charakteru ogólnokrajowego.

Como la mayoría de flores, existe una leyenda para explicar el origen de la flor de la pasión. La passiflora tiene su origen en la época en la que los españoles empezaron a llegar al otro lado del charco. Dicen que Mburcuyá, era una muchacha española que se enamoró de un chico guaraní, con el que se veía a escondidas.
Como en muchas leyendas de amor, el padre de la chica, un alto cargo militar, nunca habría permitido esta historia de amor. Al enterarse de esta relación, el hombre mató al muchacho, hundiendo a su hija en una pena insoportable, lo que la llevo a clavarse una flecha de plumas en medio del corazón, cayendo sobre el cuerpo de su amado. Tiempo después, en ese mismo lugar se dice que nació una flor nunca vista antes, la cual se denominó Mburucuyá, otro de los nombre de esta peculiar flor.
La flor de la pasión puede significar algo diferente para algunas personas. Comúnmente simboliza la crucifixión de Jesús. La flor en sí tiene algunas características que se han relacionado con diferentes aspectos de la crucifixión. A lo largo de los años, la gente ha detectado estas similitudes y ha simbolizado algunos de los diferentes aspectos de la flor.

The Church of Edward the Confessor
Situated in the Market Place, Romford, RM1 3AB. The earliest known house of worship was built in 1177 and was known as St Andrew’s Chapel. This building was demolished in the 14th century after many years of neglect. A new church was erected towards the end of the 14th century and completed in 1410. This was dedicated to The Virgin Mary and Edward the Confessor. Originally built with a Nave, a Chancel and extended North Aisle. It also featured a brick tower for five bells. Later a gallery was built for a charity for orphaned children. In 1710 it was renamed St Edward’s School and was later moved to another part of Market Place in 1728.
The church building was still in use but again fell into disrepair then work on a new church on the same site was started in 1844 and in 1849 the last service was held in the old church, then it was demolished. Only Blore’s chapel remained and was used as a burial yard until 1953, when this was also demolished.
The new building was consecrated in 1850 by Bishop of Rochester, George Murray. He was resident of Danbury Palace, Danbury, Essex. Architect John Johnson designed the church (he also designed Alexandra Palace). The church was designed in ‘Gothic Style’ and built from Kentish ragstone, it also used materials from John Nash’s in Regent Street. There are many carved heads situated in the church and this is thought to be the explanation of their being there.
It did suffer some war damage, but only minor. The biggest loss was the bells were used in the war effort and in 1944 a set of chime bells and an electric clock were installed.
Since then, major renovation work was completed in1988 and again in 1992. A new organ was installed in 1979 and in 2001 a statue of Edward the confessor was installed in the main porch.
Legend
There is a legend that the name Havering, a district close by to Romford, was named after a connection to Edward the Confessor and St John the apostle in the form of a ring. This was commemorated in a stain glass window of 1407, in the old chapel. I believe that this window does not exist now but a more modern one was installed in 1850 the 600th anniversary of the church.

Canadian Goose.
Two sizes of Canadian Geese exist. A small 22 to 26 inch and a large 35-45 inch version. They have a brownish body with a black head, long blackneck and which cheeck patch. The smaller version has a shorter neck and lacks the cheeck patch.
They inhabit lakes, bays, rivers and marshes. They often feed in open grasslands and stubble fields.
They range from Alaska east to Canada's Baffin Island and south to California in the west and Illinois and Massachusettes in the east. In winter they range from northern Mexico and the Gulf Coast. They are widespsread as a semi-domesticated bird and can be found in city parks and on reservoirs.

Playa Rincón was awarded by Conde Nast Traveler as one of the ten of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The turquoise sea and the fine sand creates a paradisiacal scenario where you can create all the photographic compositions you wish.

The Namib is considered the oldest desert in the world and there is evidence that it already existed during the Tertiary Era, 65 million years ago, when the dinosaurs became extinct. UNESCO declared the Namib a World Heritage Site in 2013.

Shooting around my home region in Italy, the llittle Molise. In Italy, there is a famous joke saying that Molise does not exist -- Molisn't --. Actually, it is a very small region in the south center of the nation with only ~300k inhabitants. Nevertheless, thanks to this little joke, now the region and all the beautiful places in it are more known.
