Thanks to a friend I was blessed to have a brief encounter with this gentle young soul. Lens was almost fully extended and image is cropped; I was not as close as it might seem.
if you didnt know already, i love pictures that have soo much going on. makes you focus more on the picture. gives it more depth. something more to look at. this one is another favorite of mine.

Someone had hung some white(ish) material from a tree, probably as a makeshift tent and the evening lighted sky was shining through.

I think if I was limited to one photograph to depict Acadia, this might be the one. Not saying it's some great photo, it just shows the essence of it all for me.

It might not be a real SD45, but I'l take the car body version. East of Canton, NC on Nov 10, 2016. The shadows were rapidly creeping into the shot, and would eclipse the bridge within 10 minutes.
