One of my supervisors and the biggest scrub this side of the Smash Bros community, Esa and I hold a deep seedy rivalry. He’s not really a scrub though, I just like talking smack. We’ve never had the opportunity to really test the other’s skill as we can’t seem to have our 3DS’s in the same place at the same time. The few times we have we have to play the Demo because one of us would forget to update their software.

I really enjoy having him as a senior at my work. He’s personable and communicates well. I’ve witnessed favouritism, poor communication, and other faults in a lot of people, but Esa stands above it. Maybe that’s just my opinion, but being able to share a joke with your staff makes the work place a lot more fun than having the tension usually created in that kind of relation. It’s nice when I can feel like my voice is heard and that my opinion counts. He’ll still give me the stare down if it looks like I’m getting to comfortable talking to a patron, but that’s what a higher up should do. I mean higher-up in the work place obviously, not in Smash by any means. C’mon Esa! Break room, after work. I’ll wreck ya!
