Rushing waters of the Avon [River] Tryweryn: it feeds into the Llyn [Lake] Celyn.
Under this lake lies the village of Capel Celyn, which was a rural community to the northwest of Bala in Gwynedd, North Wales, in the Afon Tryweryn valley.
The village and other parts of the valley were flooded in 1965 to create a reservoir, Llyn Celyn, in order to supply Liverpool and Wirral with water for industry.

A good friend has let me borrow his EOSR for an upcoming photo trip to try to track and image wild Brumbies in the Snowy Mountains. No better way to test the camera and get used to it than imaging the local Cockatoos that fly over my house most afternoons.
