Spent the last couple of weeks watching the Coots on a local lake!
The more I’ve observed them the more I’ve grown fond of them, very interesting & comical birds....& very vicious!! As I found out today! I watched & photographed them fighting aggressively for long periods.
Of course, Goslar could not be missing on our short trip. Who visits Goslar, should also plan the Butterhanne. Gose beer is here certainly some a term. After a Butterhanne visit you are now up here and try this shot;)) Yes the Gose beer 🍺

Today I want to show another "observer". This wolf here was half hidden behind a tree and didn't move as he observed his area.. It looks pretty impressive and alert..but calm too.
è quello che ci vuole per preservare le bellezze di questo pianeta. Come tanti altri anche questo ghiacciaio sta scomparendo, è arrivato il momento di imparare a voler bene a questo nostro mondo...

I know, another photo of the Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-House. However, I wanted a sunset with a classic 35mm version. Long exposure is also a must here.

We are lucky to live somewhere you can get a nice sunset whilst not traveling out of our area. This is one of the remaining Victorian Shelters in Southport with the Marine Way Bridge in the background. Stay safe everyone and have a good weekend.
We'll stay a little longer in my former neighborhood ;))) How I enjoyed my time here. It's good that I can come here anytime.
It's a typical "music defines the subject" photo.
Again, I associate the photo with a French song ;))

急に暖かくなり、近くの公園では桜も満開になっていました
It suddenly got warmer, and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom in a nearby park.
I looked out the window and saw the mountains had got some snow. Fortunately I only had to go out into my front yard to take this photo. It was a bit dull and hazy but with a little help from Photoshop I put a little Pop into it.
I haven't been on Flickr much at all in the past month or so. I have had to devote time elsewhere. I'm going to try to play catch up over the weekend holidays and see what I have missed from everyone I follow.
May everyone have a Merry Christmas and stay warm. Unless you're in the southern hemisphere. In that case be cool!! :-)
The Gardena Pass is a mountain pass. It is a saddle between the Sella massif in the south and the Cirspitzen, which are part of the Puez Group and form the gateway to the Puez-Odle Nature Park. Hiking here is simply indescribable. We spent a day here and explored the Gardena Pass. I can only recommend
a hike from Selva Gardena to the Gardena Pass.

Haramura visited after a long absence.
On the way back, I suddenly looked at the mirror and saw Yatsugatake dyed in the sunset.

1954 Ford "Fordor" Customline. The nickname "Fordor" is a play on words to distinguish it from the Ford Tudor Customline of the same generation, which only had two doors.
Folks i wasn't gone. But how should I put it, the weather is nice and the covid incidences are significantly low for Berlin. I'm on tour with the camera. Hey it's party time in town. We see the Warschauer Strasse S-Bahn station here. Berlin's most party-rich but also the most dangerous area. I wanted photographs from another bridge. See markings in the photo. It should be the “Modersohn Bridge”. But now I got there and was not alone. 😉 A lot of people have non-stop parties there. They dance in the sunset. Accordingly, I cannot take long exposures because the bridge vibrates and wobbles too much with these masses. That's funny because the next day at another time the people were gone. But the road traffic with too many big cars was much worse. Again no long exposures possible;)
