Some days are just cold, gray, and empty. The looming storm and angry clouds were accurately reflective of the atmosphere that afternoon on this small beach on the isle of Lewis. And shortly thereafter, also reflective of my mood when I realized I had lost one of the feet for my tripod in that sand.
...meaning no other 'human' visitors other than us :) where we took our lunch and had a swim for that period. We're glad with many choices of islets, we found this one hidden. Sometimes or often times preferably it's nice to be away from the big noisy crowd.
After dropping their loads and empty well cars STMA Geeps 101-103 have gathered up their empties from the UP interchange in Plummer and are on the move towards St Maries.
...empty but full of charm, tranquility and history.

Thank you very much everyone, I wish you a good end of the year!

A cool foggy morning at the beach, the kind of morning where everything is wet and no one wants to sit and enjoy the peace and solitude
DB Class 60 No.60001 formerly named “Steadfast” ambles along the old LNWR ‘Buxton & High Peak’ branch from Buxton to Ashbourne and onwards to London now the branch from Buxton serves only Dowlow & Hindlow Quarries, The grubby 60 is seen skirting round the bend at Harpur Hill heading for Dowlow with the empty “Ely” set from Peak Forest Up Sdgs formed of mostly HOA wagons. Worth noting the farmer isn’t antisocial but doesn’t appreciate people in the field whilst livestock is present.
Taken using camera mounted on pole.

Theres nothing terribly wrong with feeling lost, so long as that feeling precedes some plan on your part to actually do something about it. Too often a person grows complacent with their disillusionment, perpetually wearing their "discomfort" like a favorite shirt. by Vasquez
