Part of my A-Z Project

An empty brandy glass. I felt inspired by a book I have on photography lighting techniques to try my hand with glass subjects. I took this hand-holding my 580EX II flash attached to my camera by flash cord. I think I pointed the end of the flash slightly down and towards the "corner" of the background cloth. This image has not been desaturated. Some day I'll get some proper lighting equipment (strobes, light boxes, etc), but I'm pretty happy with this. Just need to work on eliminating those last few areas of glare.
