Much of July was occupied by these two people. They're pretty great, and it's really something else to see my sister as a mum. A really good mum, too. These are two of the sweetest, brightest girls I've had the pleasure of knowing. It amazes me to listen to them playing quietly together. They can entertain each other for hours on end and rarely argue. In fact, there's this freakish helpfulness and closeness they have. It's incredibly sweet.
And that ridiculous little one with the curls on the right there? She is one of the funniest small people around. Please behold the tiny finger at her cheek. Ridiculous.
We went to Maine for our cousin's wedding, followed by some extensive outlet shopping, followed by camping, s'mores and this. A super great week all around.
So sad, but this brilliant Star will keep shinning on...I remember having lunch with Liz Taylor on Malcolm Forbes' yacht many years ago. She was wearing a stunning maroon Cleopatra style dress.

of the late Elizabeth Taylor. She was one of my faves. I felt so sad this morning when I heard.
When ever I put this slip on, ( It was my Grandma's) I always think of Elizabeth Taylor in Cat on a hot tin roof. She exuded such confidence, such sexiness.
