Credits to the brush makers and Blacklillyflower for the makeup inspiration.
The makeup is done by me =D
The necklace used to be my mothers, it's much more beautiful in real life, it looks so magical and fantasy like!
This is not homage to Twilight or anything, I love vampires but I'm not a fan of the series. And I'm not sure if the term ELFPIRE actually exists, but if it does I'm not aware, it's just something I came up with when talking about those mythical creatures.

This is a scarlet elf cup (or possibly ruby elf cup) fungus growing in what was a bog on the Leighton Moss RSPB reserve. I say was because during our three visits during our week in Arnside the rain (fortunately mostly during the nights) caused the water levels to rise 20 cm above normal turning the bog into a pond. And that was before Saturday's deluge!
For those who know the reserve, the Lower Hide path was flooded and needed wellies on Thursday. The causeway was just keeping above the water on either side and could well be flooded by now.
More D&D inspired minifig goodness!
Shot this in the pool but I really need to take him out into the sea. He's not looking well.
Photo request shots! Chalyss asked for some more photos of my 70cm Mirodoll Lightning, my fierce warrior elf lady. So, I took my girl in the back yard yesterday and tried to photograph her from all angles.
Lightning's face-up and outfit by me. Sword is from Angell-Studio, wig is from Dollzone, shoes and gloves from Pink Fantasy store on ebay.

A most astounding thing happened mid-afternoon. I walked into my computer room and there, standing at the slightly open window, stood an Elf Owl on the window ledge. It looked hot and was no doubt enjoying the cool coming from inside the house. I had forgotten to close the window this morning when we turned on the air conditioner. I'm glad I forgot. I was able to sneak one photo, then it flew off.
Also known as Scarlet Elf Caps, Red Cups, Moss Cups and Fairies’ Bath, the Scarlet Elf Cup fungus used to be collected by country folk and made into arrangements with moss and leaves to be sold as table decorations!
This is one of my better shots from the con. I definitely was channeling my inner "Anna Fischer" (cosplay photographer who's work I love). I had to do some PS tricks to remove people and darken the glass/reflection as to not detract from the lovely ladies in the photo. And for the sake of being honest, I removed some of the "tiredness" from the blood elf's face as it looked like she had not gotten a lot of rest during the con.
Anyone know who these beautiful girls are? I'd love for them to see this photo and to see if I can take photos of them at a later time.
I think I've got a winner shot here, folks! :-D
