Résolument engagé en faveur de l’innovation, le Groupe PRISME met à profit son expertise de la mobilité et de la traçabilité par code-barres et RFID pour favoriser l’émergence de projets ambitieux, porteurs d’une véritable valeur ajoutée tant pour les centres hospitaliers que pour les patients qu’ils prennent en charge. Cet intégrateur de solutions «clés en main», sélectionné par l’UGAP et engagé pour la French Tech, dispose à cette fin d’une offre technologique large et modulable, où les start-ups et PME françaises occupent une place de choix.

BERNARD RUBINSTEIN : Entre 20% à 40% du temps de nos collaborateurs est consacré à l’identification, au développement et à la qualification de solutions et d’outils novateurs, qui répondent à des problématiques réelles ou émergentes en France, et pour lesquelles il n’existe pas encore de solutions véritablement pertinentes. Notre culture fait que chacun au sein de la société est impliqué et force de proposition. Nous évaluons chaque trimestre la qualité de notre pipeline innovation au sein du COPIL Innovation Groupe PRISME, et nos processus de décision nous permettent de trancher, prioriser et réorienter si nécessaire nos développements dans des délais très réduits.
Le Groupe PRISME travaille en pratique en permanence sur un portefeuille diversifié de projets de recherche et de développement. Nous avançons dans une démarche de partenariat avec des instituts publics et privés, plusieurs pôles de compétitivité, ainsi que de nombreuses start‐ups dynamiques dans le domaine de la recherche, que nous accompagnons dans la mise en adéquation de leurs solutions avec les besoins des utilisateurs. Je souhaite aussi mentionner bien sûr l’équipe innovation de l’UGAP, qui joue un rôle moteur important dans la diffusion des pratiques innovantes.
Ces développements s’étendent fréquemment sur plusieurs mois, pour aboutir à des outils réellement mûrs au regard des attentes professionnelles. Nous ne sommes pas pressés ou obnubilés par le court terme, et sommes très à l’aise pour démarrer une discussion avec un prospect qui a un projet à 3 – 5 ans et qui aimerait simplement un avis métier ou technique en amont de notre part. Nous construisons sur le long terme. Le Groupe PRISME bénéficie il est vrai d’une dynamique de croissance annuelle à deux chiffres, depuis plusieurs années, de capitaux propres substantiels et d’un niveau d’endettement financier proche de zéro. Ceci nous permet d’être serein par rapport au diktat des résultats trimestriels vécu par de nombreux grands groupes cotés en bourse.
L’objectif est de pouvoir ensuite proposer ces solutions innovantes au sein d’une offre globale et intégrée, s’appuyant sur l’ensemble des savoir‐faire fédérés par le Groupe PRISME. Le bénéfice est ici majeur autant pour les start‐ups et PME, qui gagnent en visibilité commerciale, que pour les établissements de santé, qui peuvent s’appuyer sur des solutions de pointe, dont la mise en œuvre et le maintien sont réalisés par un interlocuteur unique responsable de l’ensemble. Une stratégie qui a permis au Groupe PRISME de construire une position de leader dans le secteur de la traçabilité code‐barres / RFID en milieu sanitaire et médico‐social. Son chiffre d’affaires a d’ailleurs doublé sur les sept premiers mois de l’année 2015 ‐ preuve s’il en est de la pertinence de cette démarche.

B. R. : Conscient de l’abondance et de la diversité des compétences en France, le Groupe PRISME a souhaité y apporter un soutien actif, en concentrant d’abord son attention sur les entreprises nationales. Il s’est ainsi engagé pour la French Tech, une initiative de l’État qui vise à susciter une mobilisation collective en faveur de la croissance des start‐ups françaises. Le Groupe PRISME collabore en outre étroitement avec le Pôle de Compétitivité logistique Nov@log, qui a notamment facilité le rapprochement avec Tracers Technology, une PME vendéenne spécialisée dans le contrôle de la chaîne du froid. Le partenariat avec la start‐up CIRA, créatrice de l’algorithme de codage pour la compression des images numériques Waaves, illustre quant à lui à la fois la stratégie de développement sur la durée – plus de deux ans ont en effet été nécessaires pour faire évoluer la solution au plus près des besoins réels –, et l’appui apporté aux savoir‐faire nationaux.
Parallèlement à cet engagement auprès d’acteurs nationaux, le Groupe PRISME s’est également donné pour mission de prendre le meilleur de la technologie mondiale, d’accélérer sa diffusion en France et de créer de la valeur ajoutée sur le territoire national. Une approche complémentaire qui s’est par exemple traduite par un partenariat avec le finlandais Ekahau, l’un des leaders mondiaux des solutions RTLS (Real Time Location System). Le Groupe PRISME est ainsi le revendeur officiel et partenaire privilégié de la société Ekahau en France depuis 2009, et a obtenu l’accréditation pour réaliser en France des développements logiciels sur cette solution RTLS particulièrement performante.

Building on the ‘Ecosystem Landscaping to advance the Accountability to implement the Women’s Empowerment Principles in ASEAN’, the WeEmpowerAsia programme, UN women jointly develops and will disseminate the Building Pathways to Gender Equality and Sustainability through the Women's Empowerment Principles: Thailand Policy Brief (hereafter referred as ‘Thailand Policy Brief’) with key partners, namely the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Office of SMEs Promotion (OSMEP).
Gender Responsive Procurement (GRP) is one of the initiatives recommended in the Thailand Policy Brief. GRP can identify, incorporate and support women business owners seeking to access government/corporate procurement contracts. In support of the initiative, UN Women and Kenan Foundation Asia will host the “IDEA to I do”, a business presentation competition for selected women entrepreneurs, to showcase the capacity of WOB and WLB developed under WeEmpowerAsia Programme as means to promote women’s participation in supply chain. Winners will receive the WeRise Awards and the prizes are comprised of one winner, one first runner-up and one second runner-up.

The Paseo de las Iglesias Phase 1 project has 3 main goals per the Bond: River Park, Ecosystem Restoration and Erosion Protection. Below is a summary of each of the final amenities in each category to be constructed onsite.
The project will provide river park pathway and amenities including 2.7 miles of paved pathway (16’ wide), 2.2 miles of DG pathway (8’ wide) and 10,305 new trees, shrubs and cacti irrigated using permanent irrigation, temporary irrigation and Dri-water irrigation methods. The water sources will be reclaimed water. With the construction of Paseo de las Iglesias the Loop will have an 8 mile continuous section on the Santa Cruz River. Amenities will also include 3 parking areas; the west side paved parking area with restroom, ramada and seating, east side paved parking and ramada, and west side equestrian staging area with dirt parking and mounting block.
The project will provide ecosystem restoration element including a plant pallet comprised of native species local to this part of the Santa Cruz but also sustainable for current conditions, water harvesting basins, preserve in place areas for vegetation and habitat, and special habitat structures like lizard habitat and raptor perches. Additionally, Lizard and amphibian salvage to be performed by RFCD though subcontract to Dr. Rosen at U of A. RFCD contracted with Dr. Rosen to collect and monitor lizards in a fenced off area off Cottonwood Lane south of the Community Garden. The fence has been constructed by Dr. Rosen and lizard catching is in progress. Other amphibians will also be salvaged for later release. This will be treated as a do not disturb area during construction. The focus of the restoration work will be improvement to Mesquite Circle Pond which is home to 9 unique and special interest native species and one of the jewels of urban Tucson herpetological community.
The project will provide erosion protection including 1.4 miles of new soil cement bank protection, 0.4 miles of gabion bank protection, and additional methods such as rip rap, rock plating and terracing.
In addition to the decorative elements designed by the landscape architect there will be Public Art elements. With the assistance of the Tucson Pima Arts Council, we selected public artist Andy Dufford. He has been working on an entry monument and ramada for the project site. We have also been working with Las Artes, a local Arts and Education center, on a tile mural at the restroom.
During the design process our individual Section 404 permit was obtained from the Army Corps of Engineers, cultural resources mitigation was performed and letter of clearance issued from SHPO, Intergovernmental Agreement obtained with from the City of Tucson regarding property within the project area and permits with ADOT applied for. A cultural resources/archeological Phase I, Class III study was completed. The study was conducted to the current standard and determined the extent of archeological resources on site. Based on the results from the study a mitigation plan was created to determine and plan for the extent of the impacts of the project and the necessary remediation. Additionally, a goal of the project is to create signage for a segment the proposed pathway to represent the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail along the west bank of the Santa Cruz River that commemorates the 1775-1776 expedition and the historic Paseo de las Iglesias Trail.

Look out the window and think about them: natural wetlands provide services of nearly US $7 trillion, forest wetlands treat more wastewater per unit of energy and have up to 22 fold higher cost-benefit ratios than traditional sand filtration in treatment plants. Crops including the cup of tea, or coffee that you had this morning rely on pollination and pest control services of birds and insects. Projected loss of ecosystem service could lead up to 25% loss in food production and by 2050 increase the risk of hunger.
