The Klondike River gave its name to the Klondike Gold Rush. The river flows into the Yukon River at Dawson City. The photo shows a section of the Klondike River continuously carving out new channels and changing its course in this part of the Tintina Trench, a large northwest-southeast valley extending through Yukon which follows the Tintina Fault.
