The name Dylan in Welsh means, Son of the wave, born near the sea.
From the Welsh elements dy "great" and llanw "tide, flow". In Welsh mythology Dylan was a god or hero associated with the sea.

Well, the other reason I got a little shiver as I looked down over Dunraven Bay in Wales was not just because Paul was standing next to me, but because Mr Bob Dylan had walked this same path.
In 1987, this area was used as a location for the filming of Hearts of Fire, a film widely criticized for the story line and acting.Of course I saw it at the movies. I don't remember too much apart from Dylan just being Dylan with his glorious 1980s look, big hair, eyeliner, puffy shirts and earings. I remember enjoying Molly's voice. I just listened to some of the sound track and realised I knew some of the words so I must have listened to it abit at the time.
Further below from where I took yesterdays upload, there is al small cove and seats where one of the scene's was filmed. I couldn't make it any further so Paul went down and took this photo for me!
Here it is. Just abit of fan-girling. Why not?

On April 13, 2012, at 6:40pm (Hawaii time), Dylan Thomas was born:)
He is very cute, mellow, and a good baby and though he currently is going through a week of antibiotics treatment due to an infection he got from me during the labor, he is healthy and doing great:)
Motherhood is something amazing and though it has been only 4 days so far, I'm loving it!

I miss SL very much, but right now, this little boy has all my attention for a while:)

the result of an evening introducing my photographer housemate to the finer reaches of flickr...she's just started taking selfies with intent so i thought i'd introduce her to the jump shot...i think i may have inspired something ;o)...i wanted another low light jumping shot...this is lit by a small spot light behind the flower pots on the right which you can't see and the onboard flash...i'm loving the 'ghost' of me landing...and the luminescence of my shoes....with many thanks to rae for her masterclass in photoshop cropping and levels.
He was sleepy for most of our four mile hike- luckily he's just little enough to still be carried.

NEW Dylan animated and breathing set is saucyyyy.
This set has all the confidence and sexiness that can be had all packed into one set. Probably one of my favorite male sets to date with some unique finger poses, and eye focus just adds to the whole look. Comes with and without eye focus.
