Evolution of a school assignment.
I worked so much on it, that I even don't know if I like the result.
I hope you do :)

We push the passion to deliberately fall for shiny colors
This is a true case in a garden full of blossomed flowers
It’s a well known compensation to fulfill an empty heart
Precisely for Romeo to hit Juliet in the center with a dart

Looking at those beautiful trees reflecting in the lake, it came to my mind the classical concept of yin and yang.
Shadow cannot exist without light. Top cannot exist without the bottom. Life cannot exist without death.... It is called duality.
Whenever one quality reaches its peak, it will naturally begin to transform into the opposite quality: for example, grain that reaches its full height in summer (fully yang) will produce seeds and die back in winter (fully yin) in an endless cycle.
Thus, a seed will sprout from the earth and grow upwards towards the sky—an intrinsically yang movement. Then, when it reaches its full potential height, it will fall. Also, the growth of the top seeks light, while roots grow in darkness.
That observation was contained in this lake. And I am sure you can find many others.
Yes, we are surrounded by beauty and lessons but we have to look with open eyes.

I saw this pair of ducks today that I have been noticing for a while. Always together, I am impressed by how loyal they are. They were milling about in the water, coming toward me, like they were looking for food. I went back to the house and grabbed some crackers, fully expecting them to be gone by the time I got back.
The ducks were still there and immediately went for my offering but trying a few nibbles, they rejected my crackers. What's wrong with these ducks, I distinctly remember feeding ducks bread and crackers as a kid. They were still there looking at me. I felt like I had disappointed the ducks that I had wanted to befriend. They seemed like they were sticking around so I said I would be back with something better.
I went back to the house wondering what the heck ducks eat, grabbed a piece of chicken out of the fridge and my camera. As I walked back to the water I glanced down at my camera and saw that I had a manual focus 24mm lens on it. Ugh, not the best setup for birding but I was not going back to the house again, my legs were getting tired.
When I got back to the ducks they were nowhere to be seen. I called to them and I can do pretty good duck call through my hand, no ducks. Bean who had followed me back and forth each time got rewarded with the duck's chicken. By then the sky had started to do something nice to the water and it turned out I did have the right lens on after all.

Swanage Heritage Railway Autumn Gala

per wikipedia: "In railway signaling, a token is a physical object which a locomotive driver is required to have or see before entering onto a particular section of single track. The token is clearly endorsed with the names of the section it belongs to. A token system is used for single lines because of the very much greater risk of serious collision in the event of irregular working by signalmen or train crews, than on double lines."

This weeks Macro Mondays theme is Less Than An Inch.
This is a 12 volt automotive type bulb with dual elements. I believe it is a bulb to be used as a running light and turn indicator. I do know that one element requires a great deal more voltage to glow than the other.
The bulb is 3/4 of an inch wide, so I still had room to spare.
Best viewed large.

One more from one of the pairs of mated bald eagles we spent some time with a few months ago. This pair landed together in the top of some nearby trees and after some time, they began to call out together ... responding to each others calls and celebrating together.
Eagle calls are quite distinctive and fascinating to hear in nature. Of course, having them both isolated against the sky, instead of being in the midst of the tree branches, leaves, and moss, was equally exciting.
Thanks for stopping by to view. Happy Monday!

It's dual mode time!
My Flickr friend Khaniv just interested on analog film slr. Previously he had the lovely Nikon D40x with his bokehlicious 35mm F1.8 (effective in 50mm) then our friend Luluk borrowed him a Pentak K1000 film slr combined with helios lens 50mm F1.8.. to poisoned him with film camera hehe :D
I got you dude, on Dual mode (slr and digital) exposure..
enjoyed the cult of film mode hehe :D

Miradouro do Cerrado das Freiras, overlooking Sete Cidades, Sao Miguel, Azores. The two crater lakes within the crater, are referred to by the colour of the waters: blue, reflecting the sky (Portuguese: Lagoa Azul) and green, reflecting the ground (Portuguese: Lagoa Verde). According to legend, the differently coloured lakes were created when a princess and her lover, a young shepherd, had to part from each other. The tears they shed at their farewell became the two lakes, with the water coloured like their eyes

Rebuilt EMD SD10 534 was sporting its Dual Flag paint as it sat hooked to a Bandit roster mate at Bensenville in 1999.
The 534 was built in 1952 for the Milwaukee Road as SD7 2209 and rebuilt by the Milwaukee into a SD10.
Canadian Pacific sold the old EMD to NRE and it wound up in Silvis.
