Nei giorni 13 e 14 giugno scorsi, la Br248-019 di Siemens ha effettuato dei test per conto ČD sulla tratta Brno - Jihlava; nella foto vediamo la macchina in questione nei pressi di Bítovčice (CZ) al traino del R 667 "Rožmberk" Plzeň hl.n. - Brno hl.n., con la 750-710 in seconda posizione ad alimentare i servizi elettrici delle vetture.
During the 13th and the 14th of the last June, a Vectron Dual Mode was tested by ČD on the Brno - Jihlava line; in the picture we can see the Br248-019 running past Bítovčice, Czech Republic, whilst working the 12:03 R 667 "Rožmberk" from Plzeň hl.n. to Brno hl.n.

If you think you've seen this photo before, you're right! Had to retouch the previous one and repost. I'm a OCD stickler and still not happy with this re-edit. Any suggestions anyone?
Fun with smoke, easy, no skill involved but if you have an idea it can usually work quite well..very many years ago and I got sick of the smell of incense. I worked in a small pharmacy for a year and the pharmacist had them smoking all day long. I left and worked six years at Wilko followed by 12 years at the Co-op then did 16 years at Tesco and if that sounds like doing time...well it felt like it..............
Fishes swim in a pool of swirling fish slices that are normally used for serving cooked fish. (see first comment box below). This was originally made for The Kreative People Contest "Kitchenalia" in May 2018 but not used at the time.

A Red Squirrel and a Woodpigeon in a bit of a stand off yesterday at Morton lochs,the Woodpigeon seemed to win this time.
A pair of red-billed Leiothrix (Leiothrix lutea) was looking for a drinks break with the sweetest possible pose on offer. Their every action was delightfully reflected on the water there. The soothing ambience was very well matched with their stunning colours. Pics was taken from a forest in Sattal, Uttarakhand, India.
This pair of GP9s were a staple in the Fond du Lac area for quite a while and can be hard to find these days.
The regular afternoon L508 switch job pulls up and over toward Byron on their way to Lomira at Quad that afternoon.

From "exposing both sides of the film(EBS)". Normal side of the film is a city view at an observation deck in Nagoya city, reversed side is a farm in the sunset time.

Pacing CSX M601 at 1/6th of a second through Ocean Springs, MS. The Waycross, GA to New Orleans, LA southbound is led by a pair of CSX’s newly released heritage units, the Western Maryland on point followed by the Pittsburgh & Lake Erie trailing second. I had yet to shoot any of these units and the duel heritage provided a neat first opportunity.
On the Indiana Harbor Belt main just west of Blue Island Yard at Seeley Ave, a pair of RP15BDF gensets shove back as an SW1500 waits. The RP15BDF is a dual-fuel unit, capable of operating on diesel or compressed natural gas. They may not be the prettiest things on rails, but they do at least add some variety- and personally I think they look alright from this end!
