Every year we do a school supply drive, the outreach coordinator for the city schools mentioned that underwear & socks are a big need for the younger (preschool -3rd) kids.

Today I decided to try dropping things into water. One issue I found was that the vase I used was not really wide enough plus I don't have a decent flash so I was pretty limited by the light.
I used a piece of A4 photo paper curled around the built in pop up flash to defuse it. It took me ages to time the dropping of the bottle right lol.
I had great fun doing this and will be giving this another go at some point :)
So, I decided to try some more water drops. It was very frustrating, because I took about 100 shots before I realized I hadn't turned off autofocus.
I took this one AFTER I turned off autofocus. Here I am letting water drip into a white corningware pan filled with water. I added the color in post-processing.
