I don't know why but this is definitely best if Viewed On Black
If you look at the Large On Black-Version you'll be able to spot the cat net on my balcony without any problems.
(Explored!) i like this picture for two reasons. First, this is my first try with water drops and i'm satisfied with what i got (though this is nowhere near to many of th amazing pictures i see here), secondly, i shot this with the kit lens, 18-55 VR and a 100W bulb.
Water droplets on the underside of a fallen red oak (Quercus rubrus) leaf.

The small bus we travel in dropped us off here at the end of the road for our first hike in Glacier National Park. At 11.30 miles it was one of the longest hikes this trip.

Water drop on leaf
This one made to Explore on 3/4/2008. Didnt know until today (03/24) when I checked my flickr DNA. Though it was there only for a day, I am really happy about it.
Trying out some water drop photography with my photo group STP. Still working out the bugs but it was fun playing with it!
Another water drop shot, this is a golden apple Christmas tree ornament. The shot has been quite heavily cleaned up in PSE8 and it has been through Adjust to bring out some detail in the water vortex.
There are aspects of this shot I really like (top left), but I'm not happy with the right edge (actually the whole edge, but I'm being picky).
I think I can get a better shot than this (dial down the flash perhaps?) - but not tonight! ;)
The circles on the bottom of the apple are reflections of the bottom of the fish tank. The lines on the left of the apple and reflections of metal shelves in the room.
Better on black.
