Street photography from Glasgow, Scotland, captured in March 2025.
I just loved that the taxi was sat there in almost perfect symmetry with the brutalist architecture of the former Royal Bank of Scotland cash reserve on West George Street, a veritable fortress that is now disused.
On the subject of money and transport - we are on the verge of an oil and energy crisis not seen since the 1970s. Let's be clear about it, if our lives start to fall apart from cost of living rises, energy shortages, water shortages (in the Middle East) and global supply chain issues, that this crisis was caused by just two old men hell bent on war and destruction. Make them accountable.
Take care in this insane world my Flickr friends.

The steam train had just pulled into Pickering station after it`s journey from Whitby, it then uncoupled from the other end and came back around here to couple up to pull back out, the driver engineer got down from his cab and walked to the back of the engine, I then had my shot, I have desaturated slightly for effect.
I did shoot a video on the R5 of the train arriving which would have been the first video I have done on it, it`s not brilliant but I may post it at some point.
Pulling into the parking lot at our doctor's office, I saw this cute black lab patiently sitting in the driver's seat of the car opposite me and intently watching the building entrance. It was a cloudy day in August, and due to tinted windshields, low light, and my rushing to an appointment, even my iPhone 13 couldn't get a good image. But, as so often happens, poor images make for fun sliding. So - here is Mr. or Ms. Black Lab, in a significantly transformed scene for Sunday.
I started with the PSE winters filter, which turned things mostly monochrome and a lot lighter. I then used several Jixipix filters: spektrel and portrait painter, to get the swirled look to the trees; saturated the green a bit in iMac photos; back to Jixipix for artista sketch and finally snow daze. I tried to put the original in the first comment box, but that doesn't usually work for me, so...

P.S.: The driver is not this funny being on the left side!
The driver and fireman await with anticipation for the signal to give clearance to get the locomotive back on its journey. Captured on a Timeline Events Great Central Railway photo shoot.

Not sure whether this driver is suitably qualified! Grab is the local taxi app - Thailand's version of Uber
Randsburg is a semi-ghost town in California. The few dozen people who still live there have a penchant for skeletons. The skeletons pop up everywhere. This old truck has a skeleton for a driver.
Happy Truck Thursday!
