almost the finshed project of my art work for our new place (boyfriend and I). it will be a colage of everything we have done together (movies, zoo, camping ect..) plus us kissing in the middle. this is not from a photograph but from my memory. he is not only my mate but my best friend.

This park, part of the Mystic River Reservation managed by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, is tucked away between two railroad bridges that cross the Mystic River north of Boston in Somerville. It is adjacent to the Emelia Earhart Dam and Locks, and consists of nine acres that include a paved bike path, two soccer fields and a picnic area. I took the ten shots in this set during a brief walk last weekend. I didn't see many people there, but did see plenty of Canada geese feasting on the abundant grass. The odd name of this park derives from a railroad drawbridge that once occupied this spot. Across the river is the Mystic Electric Power Generation Plant in Everett.

A little bit of a plug for our Flat-coated Retriever Society of Canada's Specialty show. We are having a quilt draw for three lovely quilts. The "tickets" are these lino prints based on our specialty logo. For added fun, at least 1 in 10 are hand-coloured.
