Yet another shot of the Draw-off Tower at Haweswater.. sorry ;-)

Another morning at Grange woodlands

There are hundreds of these posts and all of them are decorated in some form or fashion. It was really impressive. There are tags on them but they just say, done by several groups of people. I'm not the sharpest knife in the draw but I already figured that out. Anyway, you find this place by taking Beach street. It dead ends at the pier.

Sometimes it's nice to just take a blank piece of paper and a pen.. and loose yourself in drawing. No one else has to see your Art in the end 😊

This Great Blue Heron was re-arranging its feathers, and hit this position - reminded me of a western movie with the cowboys facing each other down, ready to draw!

The 2x3 Lego container for drawers seemed too limited.

My 8th grade grandson’s final football game of the season. Pregame vehemently repeated chant, ā€œI’ve got your back!ā€

An amazing number of different colours, (mostly shades of Green) in a grassy environment west of Penticton.

An early, misty morning shoot at Carsington Water, in the Derbyshire Peaks.

This is a long exposure shot of the draw off tower, which houses the controls to pump water out of the reservoir.

Drax power station. The only coal powered station still under power, but burning wood pellets imported from the US. Once the most powerful power station in the UK, producing 6% of the UK power. Many questions over its sustainable credentials...but it does make or a good photo.

A shopping and entertainment hub in London's West End, Covent Garden centres on the elegant, car-free Piazza, home to fashion stores, craft stalls at the Apple Market, and the Royal Opera House. Street entertainers perform by 17th-century St. Paul’s Church, and the London Transport Museum houses vintage vehicles. Upscale restaurants serve European cuisines, and nearby theatres draw crowds for plays and musicals. ― Google

Cotehele Mill, which draws its water from the Morden Stream in the Tamar Valley (and was formerly known as Morden Mill), is part of the Cotehele Estate, which is owned by the National Trust. The Grade II-listed working mill, which produces wholemeal flour, dates back to the 18th century, though it was remodelled in the 19th century. There is believed to have been a watermill here since medieval times. In the 1860s the tenants, a family named Langsford, extended the mill by adding a sawmill on one side and a bakery on the other. A second water wheel was added to power the sawmill. The buildings surrounding the mill were used as stables, cowsheds, a hayloft and a ā€˜cherry house’ for storing cherries. The last of these buildings was added in the 1890s and they are now set up as a selection of estate and craft workshops.

Amtrak’s eastbound California Zephyr quietly crosses the large earthen fill leading down to Tunnel 16 at South Draw as the silvery passenger train catches some sunlight playing tag with clouds while dropping downgrade through the Tunnel District east of Crescent, Colorado, on the afternoon of April 24, 2019. No. 6 has nearly 30 track-miles to go before it reaches Denver Union Station out on the plains far below.

When these clouds moved in to position, I did as well. They add a certain extra to the image that helps complete it. This rail line has been shot by all of my cameras over the years, and this one is a little more complete than the rest with the addition of the clouds. They fill that distant draw in the hills that is in need of a finishing element.
