This was held on April 27th, 2010 as part of the Twitter/Art+Social Media show at the Diane Farris Gallery and had only 30 spots available (10 to invited artists and 20 to the public).
We did things a bit differently at this event. We had large sheets of paper which everyone will draw on together. These works will be later sold with half the money going to "Hope In The City" charity and the other half going into supplies and future free events of Draw By Night.
The theme was "Factory Rejects" which could involve outlandish inventions that didn't make it to market like the Tooth Scratcher. Or faulty robot butlers and laser discs. Or misfit toys that get built wrong and become bad.
This drawing was done for the Moly_x_52. That's my contribution to Kelley's moly "Fairy tales".

Once upon a time, there was a little girl who lived in the far-far East, to the ends of the tundra. Her name was Ayaga.
Every year she was waiting for the short northern summer.
Every fall she was looking at the grey gooses flying to the south.
'Ga-ga-ga', - cried the birds.
'Aya-ga-ga-ga', - heard Ayaga.
She thought they were calling her to the south. And she got off the ground and flew to the sun...
