Drawing is like riding a bicycle. You don’t use the skill for years and then, one day, you decide to give it a go and find that everything you once knew still works! It’s a bit of a miracle, really.

A pen & ink drawing done for the El Paso County Parks & Recreation Department. It appears on an interpretive sign along the New Santa Fe Trail, which runs from Palmer Lake, through the Air Force Academy, and into Colorado Springs.
