I first drew Donald Trump 8 months ago. Today I decided to try drawing him again.

Batman can have his utility belt, so why not. I got this great case made specifically for markers in Seattle. The other side holds more but i like to travel light. All in all more dignified than having a bunch of markers in a ziploc bag.

I love growing seeds, most of the plants die, but i keep trying ;-)

A1, charcoal, chalk. Exploring the way colour and line can capture shape within the human form. Additionally using colour to show depth and to communicate the warmth of the still life. The strokes used were to show an appreciation the voluptuousness of the figure, considering how the human body is a masterpiece of engineering.

made from a photograph. This was a b & w photograph of the poppy head & stems against the sky. The shapes were dramatic & I wanted to emphasise that.

Illustration depicting the Battle of Flodden, fought between the English & Scottish armies in 1513. The outcome was defeat for the unfortunate Scots and the death of their king, James IV.

I haven't been drawing every day because I've been super busy making Christmas presents. Here's today's attempt to get back into it. I'll finish the other side of her face when I get more tracing paper, of which I just discovered I am out.

This is a drawing I did of my youngest daughter several years back. She is due for a new sketching.

This drawing was created as a meditation for myself. It contains the letters "RUHE" which mean "silence" and/or "calmness" in German.

Also it may seem unsteady while watching it gave me quite a lot of "Ruhe" while drawing it.

This is what I do, almost everytime I'm on bed to sleep!!

I don't think I can live without a pencil and a paper!!

I take them with me everywhere ^^

Pencil Drawing for Falling Star Apparel

Eventually, these will be used as t-shirt designs... I am unsure as to whether I want to leave them as grey-scale drawings, or if I want to add a watercolor effect. Or, maybe we'll do both! How would you like this drawing to be displayed on a women's babydoll t-shirt?

UPDATE: I've been looking into my screenprinting options... I'm thinking about printing each design on pastel colored shirts. But should I print each design on a variety colors, or pick a specific color for each design? I was thinking about printing this particular image on baby blue. What do you think? And which design do you like best? (the other designs are in the set "art and design" in my photostream).
