This is the latest in my series of futuristic motorcycles and frankly I think it's the best. I was inspired by artist Arthur Radebaugh (no relation) who was famous for drawing futuristic modes of transportation in the 40's and 50's and so on.
from a collection of about 70+ drawings in black marker and pencil bought at the flea market. They all depict characters or actresses on TV shows of the 60s and 70s. A few are of actresses from older movies.
I believe they were done by a fan/fashion student/obsessive simply sitting in front of his/her TV set, but they might also be from a professional collection.
This is usually not my specialty in paper ephemera, but I thought it needed to be saved and kept together. If anyone has any ideas/comments/questions--let me know!

I mean, hey, musicians remix each others' work all the time, why shouldn't artists do the same thing? I love using photoshop to render mad gradients and psychedelic colour effects.
Also, yes, I know his actual drumkit is sparkley blue, but creative license, ya know? Perhaps it's the light show.
This photo was taken of an original drawing of Aaron Horkey's at his "Midwestern Heart" show in Windom, Minnesota on 9/12/10. It was used in a poster for the band, Isis.
These are pencil drawings I did when I was in college. This is how I earned my degree.. he he :) Too bad they are on notebook paper.
