Graffito, the free iPhone/iPad app was exhibited at Ivydale Primary School as part of The Big Draw campaign. Jenn Sheridan (BigDog Interactive) and Nick Bryan-Kinns (C4DM, QMUL) brought Graffito to hundreds of excited children at the school who then created these images with the app. Amazing!
In 2008 the Big Draw returned for an even BIGGER weekend of festivities!
The idea behind the annual 'ArtPlay Big Draw Festival of Drawing' is to make drawing more visible, accessible, and enjoyable with a focus on active involvement for the whole family. Working with a number of artists in varying mediums to explore our world and ourselves through drawing.
ArtPlay is owned and operated by the City of Melbourne. It is Australia’s only arts centre especially for children up to the age of 13. The centre is located at Birrarung Marr, behind Federation Square.
