The Bubbler partnered with the James Watrous Gallery & The Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters for DRINK & DRAW on Thursday, March 9, 2017. Participants met at James Watrous Gallery for a tour of the Let’s Draw exhibition* before heading to Brickhouse BBQ for drinks and open-ended drawing with prompts.
*The Let's Draw exhibition (February 18 – April 9, 2017) combined a look at the historic "Let’s Draw" WHA radio program with the work of six contemporary Wisconsin artists with diverse approaches to drawing. Learn more: wisconsinacademy.org/gallery/lets-draw

Julia Mandle Performance premiere their piece Hopscotch at The Big Draw Event in the World Financial Center Plaza. The performers will engage the public in a creative variation of hopscotch.

The idea behind the annual 'ArtPlay Big Draw Festival of Drawing' is to make drawing more visible, accessible, and enjoyable with a focus on active involvement for the whole family. Working with a number of artists in varying mediums to explore our world and ourselves through drawing.
ArtPlay is owned and operated by the City of Melbourne. It is Australia’s only arts centre especially for children up to the age of 13. The centre is located at Birrarung Marr, behind Federation Square.
