An interesting sky this morning. Of course some post processing to bring out more of the relative "goodness".
Note the little spec in the cloud, just above the right hand palm tree. No, it's not dust or a dirt spot that I forgot to remove. Click on the image, and you may be able to tell that it's a 'plane, and a very well-defined one too. Well, maybe less so on this reduced-size upload, but clearly identifiable, with very clean lines, on my screen at the full image resolution - which is cropped a bit, by the way.
The impending sunset dramatically lights up the peaks in Great Basin National Park as the clouds of a nearby thunderstorm continue to glower over the landscape.
Estaba estudiando cuando miré por la ventana y vi este precioso cielo, cogà la cámara,la monté en el trÃpode y le puse el polarizador. He aquà el resultado.

this is me and my little brother we had a wonderful time doing this shoot, lots of bubbles and fun. he is so funny how much he inputs about the way we should look and how the photos should be edited. i love him and all his nerdness (he gets it from me)
there are more photos from this on my blog invertedays.wordpress.com/2010/08/28/falling-from-the-thi...
I think the sky makes this shot of an otherwise unremarkable scene at Stroud in the early 1980's. A Pressed Steel Class 117 DMU enters the station from the West over Brunel's viaduct on a Cheltenham - Swindon local service.
By a strange coincidence this would appear to be the same unit as my only other shot of Stroud station. In this later shot it has gained the more attractive Blue -Grey livery

Taken from several shots off a rooftop in Southern Portugal after a long day of rain.
In the middle of the photo where the stadium light poles are, you can still see hard rain falling down on the mountain (Serra de Monchique).
