I tried to approximate the matting and framing of this one that I did for one of the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital March 2007 Auction donations, but somehow the way I remember it, the "real thing" looked a little more dramatic than this does as shown here.
This is the Point Bonita lighthouse in San Francisco, not too far from the Golden Gate Bridge and the Marin Headlands. Alhough you can't tell in this photo which was originally taken in color, it was taken during sunset. The color version is in my Lighthouses set: www.flickr.com/photos/photosbyterry/90051090/in/set-72057..., but I've also provided it after Alex's (algo's) comments in medium size as well as some other views. By going to the link, of course, you can see it in a larger size. The ones below and others of the lighthouse, suspension bridge and inside the lantern room are also in my San Francisco, CA and Surrounding Areas set which doesn't have as many photos as my Lighthouses set: www.flickr.com/photos/photosbyterry/sets/72057594074377701/.

Well, not SO dramatic...but he's an "Animal Ambassador" at the San Diego Wild Animal Park, which is sorta like show bizness.
This was the sun-facing side just a bit later than the previous photo I posted (with the treetops lit and a rainbow off to the side (which I didn't successfully capture)).
The Wings of Blue parachute team made the start of the Arkansas/Alabama game very dramatic by diving into Donald W. Reynolds stadium. They arrived streaming flags for the university, the State of Arkansas, and as you can see here the USA. Go Hogs! Go Air Force!
Barbara posed for Frank and me in front of the Pacific Ocean at Del Mar. I love it because of her coat, jeans, dark glasses, and flying hair. Plus the shadow.
Laguna Torre, Parque Nacional Los Glaciares (El Chaltén, Santa Cruz, Patagonia Argentina). Cordon Adela and Cerro Torre (3128 m.a.s.l.) are in the background.
Went for a walk today across the Southern Ridges Trail, brought the camera along and used the dramatic tone filter for a few shots.
Picture from Henderson Waves pedestrian bridge. It's a beautiful structure that gives some great views, like what dramatic tone did with this one.
I don't know if it's because the clouds going up the mountain, or the sun trying to go out the clouds, or the wind changing directions, or maybe just because the high of the cliffs.... but hey!.... isn't it a dramatic sunset panorama or not? Just lovely nature!

All art is but imitation of nature.-- Seneca (Letters from a Stoic - Letter LXV: On the First Cause)
The universe itself is God and the universal outpouring of its soul. --Chrysippus (Quoted by Cicero in De Natura Deorum)
Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness
Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun
Conspiring with him how to load and bless
With fruit the vines that round the thatch-eves run;
To bend with apples the moss'd cottage-trees,
And fill all fruit with ripeness to the core;
To swell the gourd, and plump the hazel shells
With a sweet kernel; to set budding more,
And still more, later flowers for the bees,
Until they think warm days will never cease,
For Summer has o'er-brimm'd their clammy cells. --To Autumn. by John Keats
Fyero was co-operating with me this evening and the light coming in from outside was very nice as the sun went down so I managed to get a few shots of her with one of the flowers purchased today.
I don't know why, but this is my favourite from the bunch, I liked it in colour but love it in black and white. I find it has a much more dramatic feel to it.
Hope everyone has enjoyed their Sundays :)
