Its been awhile since i've had a shot i can share with the world. I've been doing some shoots for clients lately that either can't have the photos public yet or they are not appropriate for my portfolio. Either way here is some of the work i can post.

Michael came to me wanting dramatic photos for the wall at the theater where he is working. he showed me a 25 year old classic Hollywood type headshot that screamed burn me! He told me I need someone that will give me a "dramatic funeral" well I don't know what that really meant but I gave him dramatic. I'll have to make the trip to the theater to see the shot they choose to display!

Och, you can't beat dramatic lighting and expressive actors. :-)

A shot from the photo call for "The Guid Sisters" by National Theatre of Scotland and The Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh.

The play is directed by Serge Denoncourt, one of Canada's leading directors and is translated from its original Quebecois.

You can see another shot from it here:

Full House

It's being performed at The Lyceum (obviously!) and then at The King's in Glasgow.

You can find out more about it here:

Messing around with some lighting techniques. Took a few self portraits, this being one of them.

It was a weird, stormy day and sunset looked quite dramatic.

This was a leaf by my window who looked so lonely lol Ran a cooper action in my processing program ;)

Introducing the new Boeing Dreamliner 787-900 series, 20 feet longer than the current 800 series, with Japanese carrier ANA being the launch customer, seen above at the 2016 Farnborough international air show in July having just completed a demonstration flight, oh those curvy wings.

The demo aircraft has a special livery design featuring Mount Fuji with cherry blossoms, two iconic symbols of Japan.

The very name of a short vacation and "girls" weekend with a couple of very good friends who share the photography habit and love of the natural world. We were off to 4-wheel and hike for the flowers the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival is famous for. Wildflowers are abundant with snow, rain and bugs.....all of which we encountered. The light could be dramatic, but it also was non-existent at times. We were a bit early for the peak bloom........but none of that diminished the wonderful time and the abundance of photos to come......

Dramatic clouds gathering over and reflecting the isle of rum, Inner Hebrides Scotland. Love the dramatic colours and the way the clouds rise like smoke from the mountain tops.

Dramatic Couture Original OOAK, "Venezia"

The entrance to the Zen Dog Studio & Tea House Gallery, at night. With the camera on a tripod, I zoomed the lens during the last half of the exposure to get the light trails.

I'd like to do a set with just dismounts. The creativity and wild abandon can be a lot of fun.

Clouds from before a stormy afternoon converted to black and white.

Perched on top of an old stump Max can survey his domain. At this moment something has caught his eye, probably a neighbor's cat or a bird.
