Breathtaking sunset views at the iconic Faro de Touriñán, the westernmost point of continental Spain. The dramatic cliffs, the endless ocean, and that incredible sky create a moment of pure magic. ✨ Standing here, you truly feel the power and beauty of nature. What a place to watch the day fade into a spectacular display of colors!
This is my view from my deck to the northwest. I love to sit outside and watch the cloud formations and the sun setting. Behind all the trees are gorgeous mansion type homes..the trees are so tall they block all of them in the winter.. If you look closely to the lower right side you can see one of them. All you can see is the pointed roof and two smokestacks sticking above the trees... ; )

This photo was taken after dinner one evening on our recent New Zealand Spring Workshop, after a huge day in the canyons & waterfalls we snuck out along the lake edge near Queenstown to have a crack at these mini waves.
It’s a demonstration of how easily you can use moving water as a strong & impactful foreground in a grand landscape.

Okay, okay, okay! I have a lot to say today, I know so unlike me but do to the amazing day I’ll share. Amazing why? Front Page, wow! I know but it is so nice to have that feeling like someone gets you or something you love to do is shared. The climb was quite the experience and I’m glad I did and could share it with you! Love you guys!
Second, the story yesterday I was wrong. I said that Mt. Sherman is one of the easiest in Colorado, ranked 45 out of 53. So its 54 not 53 - 14ers in Colorado and pertains to the height not easiest. But still is one of the easiest, I was hoping it wasn’t!
Now to this shot. This is the second mining structures you come to about a quarter into the climb. It’s a good place for a shutterbug, a mile into the hike and 800 feet. Also a good spot to act like you’re taking pictures not catching your breath or taking a break, that’s between you and me don’t tell!

Forgive me but I cannot remember where I took this beautiful yet dramatic shot of this statue. I found the photo in my archive without description, A fault in not naming it at the time.
it was a regular afternoon in portixol, just a moment on the way to the office. i´d parked the car nearby and, as i glanced up, the clouds unraveled a scene too striking to ignore. dramatic and textured, they hovered over the sea, parting just enough to let divine rays of sunlight pierce through, illuminating the water below. a jogger with a stroller crossed the scene, her steady pace a striking contrast to the still vastness of the moment. it wasn´t planned, just a fleeting stop for a photographâbut sometimes, the most ordinary interruptions offer extraordinary beauty.

A magical view from my front garden... I feel blessed with all the amazing sunsets I've experienced on my front steps!
The Bendigo Stupa.
I was really torn with this edit. A Stupa is a peaceful location and even if you are not a Buddhist, you cannot help but fell a calmness.
But the structure, the sky, the way the light fell gave it a dramatic feel. And yes, I did lean into this drama.
