When I picked the kids up from school the rumour was they were filming Dr Who in Victoria Park so we all ran down to have a look. I only had my little camera which doesnt have much of a zoom so no close ups. I managed to make out two different scenes be filmed. One where there was football being played and another where the Dr falls out of the Tardis. I also got to see the Tardis being set up and dismantled. The most exciting thing to happen in Canton for yonks!

For a swap, cable knitting in the round is fun!
A custom minimate from the classic Dr. Who episode The Pyramids of Mars. Check out my photo stream for a packaged picture of the full set.

'That is why the Earth must be made to feel my shoe-based wrath! Well, that and the fact that I just really like shoeing things!'
Screencap from the BBC's 'Doctor Who': 'The Chase' [1965], via the Tragical History Tour. Features - from left to right - Vicki (Maureen O'Brien), the Doctor (William Hartnell) and Steven Taylor (Peter Purves).
Aliens from one of the William Hartnell Dr. Who episodes. The Menoptera are obviously also just people in ill-fitting costumes.
