the Dungeness fishing fleet is beach launched, which means the fishing boats are kept on the shingle beach and launched by dragging them into the sea.
Bulldozers are used to pull the boats on and off the beach and also to flatten out the shingle beach preventing erosion. These bulldozers are kept permanently, uncovered, on the seashore which leaves them open to the salty elements resulting in a lot of rust...
After his dinner Fynn is dozing on the decking and enjoying the agreeable temperatures and the soft breeze of a summer evening. Life is good !
You've probably seen enough pictures of "Dozer" the Black throat monitor lizard (Varanus albigularis albigularis), but I kind of like the detail on his scales. Here, he has some unshed skin on his head. Before I got him, he was most likely kept in an improper enclosure, hence the scar tissue on his snout. Photo by Frank
No matter the weather or how deep the snow is, Dozer enthusiastically joins me for our daily hikes! It's terrific to see him patiently sitting by as I tend to my trail camera. With just a simple whistle, he's back by my side, ready to explore more together. Our adventures remind me of the joy and deep companionship that nature offers us every day. I cherish these moments, and I'm grateful for the bond we share!
Everyone is very excited about the new 1989 Batmobile set. I took inspiration from the same Batmobile back when the Lego Batman Movie was released. Blocks Magazine asked a few builders to come up with additional Bat-Vehicles. I came up with this jet-powered Bat-Dozer.
CSX ES44AH 1981, the freshly painted Pan Am Railway Mullet Motor, was leading the M409 which was tied down on the former RF&P in Doswell.
A fresh crew from Richmond was on the way to forward the train a little further south on Thanksgiving Day.

I hope Keith is happy that I mounted one of their victims as a hood ornament.
