A small waterfall with an autumnal backdrop located downstream of the popular Falling Foss waterfall on May Beck in the North Yorks National Park.

A little further downstream from the last shot, this shows the wonderful Murray Princess with those amazing cliffs that line the whole outer edge in this 180 degree horseshoe bend in the Murray River. Also visible are some of the many pelicans that call the river home, and on the top of shot you can see the fruit orchards (mainly oranges here) that start around this section of the river and continue a long way north and then east.

It had been raining lightly and very overcast all day, but the sun broke through just in time for my long awaited shots of the Murray Princess at Big Bend.

Brobury

Back to the bridge at Bredwardine for another look at the fast flowing River Wye. The water meadow at Brobury House and gardens is on the left bank. On the right bank there is usually a small shingle beach exposed which is very popular with visitors, a place where I’ve often stood to taken photos of the bridge, but not on this occasion.

Thank you for your visit and your comment, they are greatly appreciated.

A view downstream along the Werribee River near the Linear Park. A difficult day for photography as the wind was buffeting both me and the camera.

This guy spent more time trying to get his line untangled from the willows than he did fishing. I suppose there are worse places to get hung up. I couldn't get over how blue the sky was last weekend. My favorite color!

And around the bend from the Balcony, lies this rickety old bridge.

Whenever in doubt, turn off your mind, relax, float downstream.

Two grizzly bears met on the river bank, one travelling upsteam, one travelling downstream. It was a standoff. What happened next? Sorry, didn't see; it's one of life's little unsolved mysteries. Chilko River, BC.

This is the result of just exploring the world, finding creeks in the middle of no where, and just walking up them, wading through them, rock jumping across them. No trail leads here, I might even be hard pressed to find this exact location again, although I have an idea of where I was. I know the Oregon forests are beautiful, and offer spectacular possibilities.

My last of five photos I took of Freedom Falls on 9/13. Water flow was super low so I used it as an excuse to shoot from a different perspective. In this scene, I'm on top the falls looking downstream.

Tripod. Not HDR. 4-stop ND filter. No crop on this one.**

Sorry I haven't posted much. Work is very busy at the moment and I'm once again backlogged in lightroom.

** This previously read that I had cropped it, the result of a bad copy and paste. Doh!
