From my room in the DoubleTree Hotel in Charlottesville, Virginia.

The day before I moved to my conference hotel, I decided to drive by the place so I could get a feel for where it was. I punched the street address for the hotel, 1000 NE Multnomah Street, into the GPS. The main entrance, however, is on the driveway that runs through the middle of the complex, between the cross streets 9th and 11th Avenues. This Google Street View image shows what I saw when I drove by looking for the hotel.
