Calder Valley Search & Rescue where in town fund raising! These are two of the four dogs I noticed! Everyone wanted to get in the way the moment I took out the camera! :-)

20 minute photo shoot with Chewy the Dog, Belleview the Kayakdog and Woody Pinewood.

Waldo had a friend visiting this week. He seems very happy to share the apartment with another dog, don't you think?

He's really proven himself to be quite the tiny bully: stealing toys, taking food, and guarding the sofa from our guest. They do play a mean tug-of-war, though.

These guys were anxiously checking everyone leaving the store to see if their master was coming. I think it's the most intensely anyone looked at me today...

Lulu and Poppy racing into the river to catch the ball before it was swept away.

A duck that belongs to another dog is always more exciting than your own toys.

I'm not sure whether "pensive" is the correct interpretation of Myron's facial expression. Who can fathom what goes on within the Beagle brain?

He's the old, disgruntled neighborhood dog that refuses to go into a house and instead sleeps outside and barks at everyone except me because I give him treats.

On today's ride I found these two puppies shivering in a 16-20 mph wind (windchill I think was about 35 degrees) on the side of Reigle Rd. I held them until my daughter arrived by car to take them back to the house. Tomorrow I'll have to start figuring out what to do for them.

woof, at the Workshops

Professional photos of dogs doubles their adoption rate so photographing in high kill shelters is best. This little guys adopter said that this photo sold him.

This is one of my friend's two Shelties. Isn't he beautiful?

Balloon Meadow, Watermead, Aylesbury, Bucks. 30/08/14.

This is not an exciting shot, but I was excited about it nonetheless, because it was one of my first successful attempts at using my SB-600 flash off camera, with my camera's pop-up flash in commander mode. Weeee! This was one of the few where Fergus was looking forward -- he had trouble diverting his attention from the flash sitting off to his right. He'd stare at it, then it would flash in his face, and he'd become confounded.

Peter is oblivious to the falling snow as he sets off to chase Walter.

still obsessed by the ball even covered in snow .....

Chuck Waggin' is a 2-3 year old male ACD

Chuck is a cool little guy weighing in at 37-40 lbs. He bonds with his person rather quickly and just wants to be wherever you are. Whether it's at your feet while you read a book or watch TV, going for a walk around the neighborhood or going for a car ride, Chuck wants to accompany you. He is a mellow, low to medium energy guy but is up for ball play or a walk anytime. Chuck gets along with other dogs just fine as long as they don't try and push him around. He never starts anything but he will stand his ground. For whatever reason, Chuck does not care for children so he needs to go to a home either with no children or older children that have a healthy respect for dogs. Chuck is trustworthy in the house by himself, he knows how to use the doggie door and is not destructive.

Chuck is housebroken, crate trained, and fully vetted.

He is currently located in North Phoenix.
