.... we had in daytime our own little tent to take a rest in...but we both loved the inside of the caravan better...
Bella is a Beagle cross King Charles Cavalier. She has a penchant for jumping and licking.
What I find really interesting is the toys she chooses to chase. She has a couple of toys that make noise: a sheep, a sting ray and a duck. Without exception, she pounces on the duck any time it moves. She'll jump up and try to rip it out of your hand and follow it intently with her eyes. Try to do the same with the other two toys and she'll ignore you. She also keeps a slipper that is shaped like a duck near her bed, proudly showing it to visitors like me.
Despite being so many generations removed from hunting dogs, she still seems to retain some sense of it.
I remember working on this drawing at the veterinary office. The vet commented that the pink discoloration on the dog's paws was from an allergy. I didn't have the heart to tell the owners, but later the lady told me that they had the dog treated for allergies. Serious looking little dog person.

in my families' grand canine tradition of "there is always room for one more" this is Kami, rescued from VA German Shepherd Rescue. Her previous owner was elderly who is deceased and she was surrendered to the humane society. Older dogs are RARELY adopted compared to their younger counterparts.Much like a dog with no legs her name doesn't matter to her as she is partially deaf. She is a warm, gentle and loving soul, and heaven has a place for the people who give them comfort and love in their final years.
