Went to volunteer at this shelter walking dogs, clean up etc. these are some of the pups available for adoption. some of them left to go to an adoption event I hope they found some great humans.

This guy's name is Bentley. The owner didn't seem to know that San Francisco had a famous bulldog named Bentley, owned by journalist Warren Hinckle.

Pero con la familia es lo màs dulce y cariñosa y tambièn divertida. Es mi solcito, siempre se despierta alerta y contenta. Es la màs activa de mis tres perras.
(I found her in the street in a cold winter day, she was hurt in one of her hind legs, probably by a car. She is always alert. She`s a guardian dog although she`s not very big. She`s always happy and the most active of my three dogs. She`s my little sun.)
Here is a breed of dog native to Japan. I forget what this particular breed is called - I think it's an Akita?
Over in Shibuya station, there's a statue celebrating one very famous Tokyo dog, Hachiko. Here's the story of Hachiko:
Hachiko used to accompany his master, Professor Ueno, to Shibuya station every day. Then one day, Professor Ueno passed away. Hachiko continued going to the same station to wait for his master every day, however, until his own death 11 years later.

She's got it, oh baby, she's got it.
Over the summer, I found out I'd been spelling Bailey's name wrong all my life... She's actually a "Baylee"! To my credit, her owners often default to Bailey when writing it so I only realized it when I came across one of her vet bills while doggy-sitting a few weeks ago. I wondered if I should go back and correct her name on Flickr, but then I realized I kinda prefer the traditional spelling and I'd just confuse myself. Maybe when the project is over I'll edit everything, but for now we'll stick with what we thought we knew.
Only four more months to go, woo!
