Dog and Cat Show - 22nd Dec 2013 held at Calicut

this is lulu and bruno lulu's brother. the woman we got lulu from has bruno for a while and since she lives quite close to us now we walked over for a visit. this was the first time lulu and us had seen any of her littermates, siblings whatever one calls them. bruno is a little bigger than lulu and has a shorter tail and an obvious colour difference.. what was interesting was the way they walked and smiled and their energy levels. bruno was not as well trained (under control) but was a very friendly and good natured dog like lulu. they chased each other played rolled etc for a good twenty minutes non-stop and then crashed panting and puffing. that night lulu could hardly keep her eyes open and went to bed early. it was neat to see how one of the others grew up and we hope to see two more this summer. they will be 1 year old the end of the month.

The Nathan's International July Fourth Hot Dog Eating Contest is an annual competitive eating competition held at Nathan's Famous Corporation's original and best-known restaurant at the corner of Surf and Stillwell Avenues in Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York. The event is held on July 4, and is regarded as the world's most famous hot dog eating contest and a colorful tradition of Independence Day in the United States. In 2006, over 30,000 spectators attended the event, and an additional 1.5 million households watched it live on ESPN.[1]

The 92nd annual contest was held on July 4, 2007, and was televised live on ESPN at 12 p.m. EDT. Six-time defending champion Takeru "Tsunami" Kobayashi was beaten by Joey Chestnut, who won by eating a world record-breaking 66 hot dogs and buns in 12 minutes.

The 2008 event is scheduled for July 4, 2008
