On trains I always try to keep all of myself as tidy and small and inconspicuous as possible and that includes anything that should be expelled from my body. Other people it seems use the train to really get their breath and germs across to everyone. I always get the sighers, the ones who breathe out a great lung full of fetid air. They always time it so that i am breathing in as they breathe out and I find myself experiencing the very (invariably foul) essence of this person. And if you are a sigher why arent you also a gum chewer?

This is, without doubt, the finest dog I have ever met. Sadly this rather rushed shot doesn't do him justice.He's a lurcher, Borzoi cross Saluki, about 3/4 Saluki I'd guess. Stunning to look at, in beautiful condition and with a calm, gentle disposition. I met him and his family in Boscastle, Cornwall.
This shot isn't as sharp as it should be but I liked it so used it anyway...sorry =(
So it's official, Splash will never be able to return to agility. She has been recovering for almost a year and was allowed to do off leash hikes and a little flatwork for agility and after a hike yesterday she was a little gimpy in the evening. So what do you do with a high drive BC that isn't allowed to work sheep, play agility, play frisbee or normal fetch games, or run too crazy on off leash hikes. BTW she doesn't really seem to feel pain, so even if she is limping she will still run around at top speed if you let her. She is only 4 yrs as of Dec. 2013.....lots of years left of unquenchable energy....
Oh, also I am looking for a high BC pup for agility. I live in California if any knows of pups or a young BC that is available. I'm watching rescues too and of course I work with a BC rescue. But you never know what might turn up if you put the word out! =) Thanks!

Recurring theme: Puppies and their plush toys
Why: We want to think they are human anyway. This just underscores that with cuteness. (Nevermind that they'd do the same thing with your dust mop.)
Jimmy is one of the sweetest Dog that I've ever come across. She is there always in front of the gate of my Building waiting for me to come up and Give her some Attention.
They were 11 days old when I took this shot. Sadly one of them went back to Heaven a few days ago. The others seem to be healthy and they all have a hearty appetite!

Rusty's breeders invited us over yesterday to have a look at their pups, who are just a day short of being 8 weeks old! Aussie shepherd (of course), and all so stunning, and of course adorable! They also wanted us to bring Rusty to say hi :-)
Beautiful weather means more time spent outside. My dog, Hiram, loves being outside, especially when someone will play with him. Little does he know the frisbee is for playing, not chewing!
