Cased 1/6th plate tintype of three hunters with two dogs. Two are armed with muzzle-loading double shotguns, but the young man in the back has a "Kentucky rifle" with a full patchbox. No, it isn't a left handed rifle. Tintypes are "mirror images", so everything is reversed.

He was a-splishin' and a'splashin'
Reelin' with the feelin', movin' and a'groovin'
Rockin' and a'rollin', yeah!

They went home this weekend...my favorite is the girl on the far left..I just loved her, reminded me of Vada..they were all wonderful, smart babies just like their mommy..Vada will have one more litter than come back home and get spayed and boy I cant wait to hold her again...i miss her smile and her pawing me to pet her...i will probably get a pup from the next litter, which makes me excited because i would love a little vada!
