This is Grady who's been been home with me for just under 2 weeks. His name is Grady because when I first met him at Battersea Dogs Home he was with Paul O'Grady filming the "Love Of Dogs" Christmas special and thought it a fitting name to honour Paul for all the good work he does for them.

Early days but he's settling in really well - more photo's to follow.

...gonna let the dogs in?!

If I could choose just one friend that would be forever at my side and Love me unconditionally it would be my Dog.

He accepts me as I am and never fails to make me smile

The dogs in the sunshine looking blissful.

Until I get Photoshop back next Thursday I'm going to have to use stuff I've already prepared: even resizing in an unfamiliar programme is tricky. If it pours down all week I may get to grips with Paint shop pro but I doubt it! Too much to do in the garden and greenhouse.

Os dois bagunceiros!

dogs of the family, let me think of the two old men with the muppets

I'm walk down the Denver 16th St. and at a corner I hear this loud music but it takes me a minute to realize what's going on cause I've seen this and heard the music before but didn't have my camera - not sure if my camera setting are good I'm taking this anyway - the light was red and I don't have time for adjustments - the black box at the end is the music plus the last trailer has a smaller dog - that makes 3 dogs. Love it.

SOOC

Introducing @GMPDogs Aayla and Murphy, who have just qualified as drugs, firearms and cash detection dogs.

Their training has taken six weeks, and involves going out and about to busy environments to meet people and other dogs. They both passed and are now ready for action and will be out on the streets of Greater Manchester with their new handlers.

Aayla is a 15-month old Springer Spaniel who was born at GMP and bred specifically to be a police dog. Despite her subdued look, she is a bundle of energy and power and her natural ability to search was shown on her course when she visited venues across Greater Manchester. Her nose has already led her to many successful finds in her training. She has a bright future ahead and will work with her handler, PC Mark Richardson.

Murphy is a two-year-old Springador (Springer Spaniel cross Labrador) who through no fault of his own, found himself in the care of Spaniel Aid, who are a charity that helps rehome dogs. He is a very clever dog and the charity thought he was best suited to a working role so he started his working life at GMP.

Over the last few months he has been out to places, such as, Manchester Airport and Piccadilly train station where he has met lots of people. He has taken everything in his stride and is very popular and will be working with his handler, PC Rob Kinley.

Flat out tired !!!

Nettie relaxing on the sofa - alone for a change.

Tired and thirsty after a walk.

Our Labrador baby that thinks she is still a puppy. Will not hurt a fly and wants to be friends with everyone

Came across a pack of African Wild dogs. They are considered rare now. I only saw them once, and they didn't hang around too long. About a minute later the whole group of about 20 disappeared into the bush.

This is how The Game works. Kess stalks Pepper, and Jade stalks Kess. Not pictured: Pepper pretending that she is NOT being stalked.

Lucy, 4 month old border collie pup.

My first attempt at taking a photo and making it look a little like a painting. Tried to get it to look like an oil on canvas somewhat. Used Topaz DeNoise, Adjust, ReMask, Clean, and ReStyle then added a texture that looked like canvas.
