There were two boxes of lights yet to go on the tree... and they were just sitting on the table.

Naturally, I had to use them. :)

Rio was suspicious of what we were going to do when I put the bow on her collar.

Kirby was jolly and patient when he saw the camera.

Pudge was pretty compliant. He sat still with his happy little face on and only wiggled his way forward once (which happened to be this shot).

Junuea was NOT happy with me... I woke him up from his daily afternoon nap. :-S Thankfully his mood changed when the treats appeared. (he actually "escaped" right as I was getting ready to pose the dogs and L found him halfway hidden under a bed!)

Tilly didn't know what was going on. We had to keep having her sit because she would sink into a down position. Apparently it was really boring to her too because she's yawning in about half the pictures.

I love our dogs!

i believe if you forced merrick to choose between balls and me, he'd be rather hard-pressed ... although over the past couple of days he'd gladly opt for the balls since i'm little more than a lump of flesh under the covers or behind the computer nursing the mother of all migraines.

i managed to get him out for a few ball chases this afternoon and grabbed j's D80 since it was sitting conveniently on the kitchen table due to a visit from our local turkey on our back deck this morning. however, it took me 10 minutes just to find the right settings, and even then i didn't think to adjust the ISO ... i'm so spoiled with my own cameras. so this one's pretty grainy. AND it was shot .jpg. i can't remember the last time i shot .jpg. acht!

... back to bed.

Been trying to catch our springer having a shake wit the light catching the drops for weeks and managed it while we were walking over the Dungeness lake area.

Whats going on here?

The German Shepdog has its cinema here....

Two Shiba Inu playing chase going in circle around the isles while chatting with the store owner. That was a funny sight to see LOL.

This head item is getting converted into part of Crush's Sheriff Weinerdog costume, but it seemed important to have Bailey try it on first. Right? Crucial.

Message to everybody: You really have to relax sometimes ! :-)

This is my sweet Ginger. Look at those ears!

Took the dogs to Poochapalooza. Had to take Rogue separately because she was too wound up.

it's not yet that time but a lowering sun and lots of orange bracken do the same trick! .... Paddy

Just sitting here in the middle of July....looking at 'snow pics'. Longing for a nice snow drift. Maybe I've been in the sun too long.

Early this morning Fritz became very unwell, and didn't even want breakfast, which is unheard of.

So I sat up with him till it the vets opened and at noon I took all three down there and we did the deed.

Rosie knew he was ill and in this photo you can see her doing her best to show solidarity until it was time to leave.

She examined the body very carefully and understands he is not here anymore.

I don't think Ralph could care less!

PLEASE do not feel sorry for me : I have had 18 dogs so far and am well used to death from old age or illness. Fritz made it clear it was time.

Just some random indoor shots I took because the weather wasn't very cooperative...

Candor & Buba lazing in the late summer sun.

I met some lovely dogs and people while out walking.
