A sunny afternoon in Sidmouth Devon. The symmetry appealed to me.

We've had freezing temperatures & quite a bit of snow over the past couple of days, a nice change from rain & mud! The girls love it, even though the little ones almost became snowballs :) they wear coats for a reason lol.

Thank you for the views of poppy my pet dog🐾

We went back to Taughannock Falls State Park and a lot of people were visiting today. I encountered these two lovely Rottiepoo's while there. They are a mix of Rottweiler and Poodle. They are big dogs and very gentle.

I followed their person down the sidewalk and into the little bar. " What gorgeous dogs. I'm a photographer and my assignment today is to find two of a kind. I think you have them !" The male smiling on the left is 3. The female on the right is 10.

This pooch really melted my heart- Taken at Whisby Nature Park Lincoln UK

Dogs always are social distanced to their dismay most of the time when they are inside. The world outside is always a place to look out longingly at. This day, Audrey took it to another level.

P.S. this is a naturally occurring sepia tone.......and I love it.

It takes 3hrs or so on the fells to get him to this state ... ie an awful lot of running about!

Vizsla's distracted

Kind of a quiet week with my girl. She is not interested in her food but will eat what we are eating. She seems comfortable enough thanks to the Librela injection. We took her to the beach yesterday as it was a beautiful day here. I was trying for a nice shot of Della by the reflections in the little pond behind the beach. I didn’t get what I was hoping for but I am putting up the photo of what I did get at that location in the first comments box.

I went with my almost silhouette shot from our little walk by the beach. Our silhouette shots are not as fun and wild as they used to be. Jumping for frisbees is not in the beach time actives anymore. However just a short walk along the shore can be very nice too. There was no fooling around with the colors in this photo, that was really what it looked like!

We took bloodwork on Della yesterday as she has been so sedate lately. I fear her kidney issues might be catching up with her.

Mo and Pearl two dogs we rescued from an illegal puppy farm.

This is Drago doing his bounce trick right after getting out of the water... that's why there's drops flying everywhere around him

here's another view of the trick: www.flickr.com/photos/lily-1/9649007789/

Gravity is no problem for him!

Now i can just tell him to do it anywhere and from far away.... it really does look like doggie parkour because he goes full on and so fast and yet makes it look effortless

i believe if you forced merrick to choose between balls and me, he'd be rather hard-pressed ... although over the past couple of days he'd gladly opt for the balls since i'm little more than a lump of flesh under the covers or behind the computer nursing the mother of all migraines.

i managed to get him out for a few ball chases this afternoon and grabbed j's D80 since it was sitting conveniently on the kitchen table due to a visit from our local turkey on our back deck this morning. however, it took me 10 minutes just to find the right settings, and even then i didn't think to adjust the ISO ... i'm so spoiled with my own cameras. so this one's pretty grainy. AND it was shot .jpg. i can't remember the last time i shot .jpg. acht!

... back to bed.

milou found a disgarded toy, ran around like a nut with it, and then plopped down to claim it with a nap.
