One of the 5 McDonald's restaurants in Brussels on the Chaussée de Waterloo | Waterloose Steenweg. The exterior has the new look but the inside needs an update when I visited this store. On the internet it is said that this McDonald's opens at 08h30 and serves breakfast (McMorning as they call it). In reality the doors of this store will not be unlocked before 10h00 and this store doesn't do breakfast. The neighbourhood is very depressing and it looks like nothing has changed since 1970 or something. Except for the new McDonald's look and the Dodge Ram in front.

i love me some old trucks. we were in beltsville maryland at a farm doing some work, when low and behold i see this beautiful truck there. everyone thought it was junk, alas i knew it not only was awesome but that it probably still ran. So late one night ~10pm we get our huge cargo van stuck in the mud, with no one to call and miles from anything... really long story shorter, i found the keys to this beast, coaxed it into starting and pulled our van out with no problems. brought me back to the good old days growing up in texas and going mudslingin with my bro. awwww

Another imported and newer vehicle that pays less VED than my little 2002 MG ZT 2.5L V6 due to the fact USA imports are not emission tested. (don't get me started!!)

On June 1st, 2014 at 4:16pm, the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department (LPFD) responded to multiple reports of a vegetation fire at 400 Wall St. near Granada High School in Livermore. Arriving units found a good-sized working vegetation fire in the grass behind the school and immediately went into offensive mode. Upon arrival, LPFD Battalion 9 assumed Wall IC and requested a second alarm, summoning several Type 1 engines to assist the Type 3 engines and Patrols with fire attack as well as to provide access to a water supply. Alameda County Fire responded two battalion chiefs (Battalion 2 and Battalion 3) and a Type 3 engine (Engine 308) to assist as well. Because the fire was also threatening a couple structures nearby, LPFD Truck 96 responded to the call also for structure protection, but cleared by the time I arrived on scene.
Besides Truck 96, the total balance of apparatus on scene included Alameda County Battalions 2 and 3, LPFD Battalion 9, Alameda County Type 3 Engine 308, LPFD Type 3 Engines 394 and 399, LPFD Chief 90, LPFD Patrol Engines 491, 495, 497, and LPFD Type 1 Engines 90, 95, 97, and 98, making for a total of 15 pieces of apparatus on scene!
LPFD Type 1 Engine 90 (E90) is a mid 2000s-era Hi-Tech EVS pumper built on a Spartan Gladiator chassis.
