2002-2005 Dodge Ram 1500 or 2500 4x4 Quadcab. This pickup can transport prisoners it has a cage inside. You would think to save money the CA State Parks would be buying base model work trucks not SLT's but pickups from this era costed less than they do now and the SLT trim probably didn't add much to the price since they bought a bunch of these trucks at once.

These cool Ram 5500's belong to United Towing of Livermore. I photographed these recovery trucks and dozens more in October at the California Tow Truck Association's annual parade to raise awareness of the state Move Over Law. Be sure to slow down and move over for tow trucks & other emergency vehicles providing assistance alongside our busy roads or highways. On June 1st, 2014 at 4:16pm, the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department (LPFD) responded to multiple reports of a vegetation fire at 400 Wall St. near Granada High School in Livermore. Arriving units found a good-sized working vegetation fire in the grass behind the school and immediately went into offensive mode. Upon arrival, LPFD Battalion 9 assumed Wall IC and requested a second alarm, summoning several Type 1 engines to assist the Type 3 engines and Patrols with fire attack as well as to provide access to a water supply. Alameda County Fire responded two battalion chiefs (Battalion 2 and Battalion 3) and a Type 3 engine (Engine 308) to assist as well. Because the fire was also threatening a couple structures nearby, LPFD Truck 96 responded to the call also for structure protection, but cleared by the time I arrived on scene.
Besides Truck 96, the total balance of apparatus on scene included Alameda County Battalions 2 and 3, LPFD Battalion 9, Alameda County Type 3 Engine 308, LPFD Type 3 Engines 394 and 399, LPFD Chief 90, LPFD Patrol Engines 491, 495, 497, and LPFD Type 1 Engines 90, 95, 97, and 98, making for a total of 15 pieces of apparatus on scene!
LPFD Type 1 Engine 90 (E90) is a mid 2000s-era Hi-Tech EVS pumper built on a Spartan Gladiator chassis.
Of course many American trucks make it here, but don't make it back. Taken from the top deck of a passing bus, this Dodge Ram 2500 isn't going anywhere very fast, and appears to have been on fire at some point...
The plucky sports car that revived the GTV name, powered by the fascinating and beautifully crafted 2.0 16V Twin Spark turbocharged engine.

Very anonymous styling but its thought this Xin Yu Toys pick-up is probably based on a Dodge Ram. Very low end quality and realism as its designed to be a cheap disposable toy though ironically since moving to black plastic rather than grey does give it a bit more substance. Wholesale copied from a Feisu casting right down to its construction themed livery. Part of a five vehicle set. Mint and boxed.
