Doc Brown
At the start of the Cannonball 2016 run at Point Village Dublin to Westport, Doc Brown warms up his DeLorean before the starting of engines just after 11.30 am.
Dedicated to Doctor Emmett Brown, of course. :D
I will dedicate another version to Hiro Nakamura too... :D
Doc's Barn in the Movie "Back to the Future 3" was made with LEGO!
The building instruction is in Rebrickable:
Doc's lab in 1885 was built on two 32x32 baseplates. The front area includes the famous ice cube maker and train model. The rear area is his living quarter. The garage in front of the ice cube maker is compatible with "LEGO 21103 The DeLorean Time Machine" (not included in the instruction or part list).

Out from nowhere, seemingly, though he must have driven up and parked next to the road bridge, a member of the Tyseley team or Network Rail attends the light-engine working, he is seen walking past a pile of earth, excavated when the tracks were removed, the cut-off section of the last remaining piece starting where the signal, S0297, is located. The 50 continued to produce a decent amount of the 'blue stuff' and more so when it quickly took after before an approaching long freight took precedence, see later. 50007, D407 is nicely turned out in 'B.R. Blue' livery with small 'Intercity' cab-side 'double-arrow' logo. Some information about this loco can be found here-

Pair of Mini Munny's that I recently completed as birthday present for a friend of mine who might be the biggest Back to the Future fan in the world. Custom sculpted hair for both, and Marty has a sculpted puffy jacket.

The garage of the Gamble House (now the bookstore and museum shop) was the setting for Doc Brown's garage/workshop in the ‘50s. The garage featured in the ‘80s portion of the movie was a facade built in an LA parking lot.
The Gamble House was only used for the exterior shots in "Back To The Future." Most of the interiors were shot at the nearby Blacker House (1907), another Greene and Greene masterpiece. (The interior scenes of Doc Brown's garage/lab were shot on a sound stage.)
The Gamble house was built in the Arts and Crafts style--a movement dedicated to the use of natural materials, attention to detail and hand craftsmanship. It was a reaction to both Victorian-era ornateness and the "soulless" mass-produced nature of the Industrial Revolution.
Imagine my surprise when this pulled into the parking lot of the Starbucks where I was sitting (in Spokane, Washington). And only 20,000 miles on it... wow!
Halloween 2008 = three-apartment barcrawl (Xtian/Milberger + me + Mary) to petty cab adventure downtown to Gallery Bar dance party. Oof.

"The Meeting Place, a 9 metre (29.53 feet) tall bronze statue in St Pancras railway station in London, surrounded by a frieze, featuring images from the history of the Tube and train: people queuing on platforms or travelling in carriages; soldiers departing for war and returning injured, and repair works following the 7 July 2005 London bombings. The work was the object of controversy when first erected, as one panel depicted a commuter falling into the path of a train driven by the Grim Reaper. However, following discussions with London and Continental Railways (LCR), this panel was replaced with another." Wikipedia
"The couple itself will be the icon of the sculpture but around the base, on the frieze, I look at all kinds of different meetings and one of the things that made me think about that was the film 'Love Actually.' At the airport scene, when you get all the characters together and suddenly the doors open and out come the people that have been away and you get all sorts of meetings and people being reunited. I think that is an interesting slice of life and in a way the relief around the base has to be a rich tapestry about people getting together again after being apart. All separation involves a suspended moment when one wonders is this forever?" Paul Day (found here)

“Oh wow Rick, the Time Machine from the movie!”
“No Morty! This, this is ingenious! Thats not a time machine, it’s a LEGO kit. A LEGO kit that WASTES time! Now grab the wheel Morty, grandpa’s had too much to drink.”
What an excellent, satisfying build!
The action features work excellently, the details are on point and all three display options look great.
Awesome addition to the upscale cars. May have to do another shoot with this thing before it gets settled into a permanent display.
