Art display at Thirroul Seaside festival
Went to the beach after enjoying snack foods at the seaside festival and saw this bookshelf at the side - and I thought it was strange that council put this bookshelf display there
until I realised after looking around that there are several art displays around - as part of the festival.

I ended up picking this up at a flea market. I remember paying about $15 for it but I have had it for close to a year so I could be wrong.
I was pretty excited about picking it up as it is a pretty cool item for any game themed area.
Brilliant festive window display with Santa cleaning plastic rubbish on the beach. Hope he doesn't mix up his sacks! Or perhaps these are presents for the naughty girls and boys.

I built this table-top display for a local bazaar where I will be showing, and hopefully selling, my photography.
A group of life-size figures of Dr Sun Yat Sen and the revolutionaries holding a meeting at Wan Qing Yuan are display at the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall.

I kept this display up for the month of October through election day. I think it may well have been the most popular display I've ever put up. I was constantly refilling books, and I had to get more and more tangential to do so.
The Grade I Listed Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, in Castor a town near Market Rasen in West Lindsey, Lincolnshire.
This building is not the first church which has stood on the site as it is suggested that Saint Paulinus established a church here in the early part of the seventh century. Certainly, there has been a place of worship here since Saxon times and the lower part of the tower is perhaps Saxon, dating from around 1050.
The tower, as it stands today, displays works of three architectural periods. Its base is early Norman but with indications of two previous arches which may have been Saxon. Its second stage is Early English and the top stage with the decorated pinnacles and battlements is Perpendicular style.
Do look at the exterior of the beautiful south door way, with its typical “Dog tooth” ornamentation. This, together with much of the nave, Chancel arch and Chancel all date from the thirteenth century, these being of the Early English style.

I think this is a typical threat display. I was standing on the concrete retaining wall that the road runs across, & this guy came motoring over. It swam back & forth for a bit, then reached up & started chomping vigorously on the toe of my hiking boot. When that didn't produce much reaction (aside from me taking a step back), it tucked its head all the way down onto its neck & resumed cruising back & forth in front of me.
Here is a fun jewelry display made using tropical fruit as a backdrop. You can clearly see the Durian and Mangosteen in this photo.

Megan's end of term ballet display today. The classes are usually shrouded in mystery, with the teacher not letting us even peek through the door. So it was lovely to see it all in action, and extremely cute watching all the little girls go through the exercises.
On July 30 I joined Lakisha Spletzer for a self-publishing workshop at the Citrus County Library. My display (which includes material that is self-published, published in the small press, and published in a larger professional magazine) included:
